Maybe it's there and I just don't see it. Amongst all the tools I've tried, many still require a lot of human input to get a great result, but not Fireflies. The plugin attends all our calls and spits out accurate and brilliant summaries, key objectives and points and a transcript from the call. It's easy to send this on to clients or refer back to it with the search tool if we want to verify anything we forgot. Gone are the days of having our project manager type up notes, now we can focus her time on more important work. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** Nothing! I genuinely don't have any feedback, I absolutely love it. On occasion the transcripting isn't perfect but then no speech-to-text transcribing ever is what with different accents and people mumbling. But it doesn't impede Fireflies' ability to understand the conversation. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fireflies records the entire call so you can literally not miss anything. In the past we'd manually take notes over key points from a call but of course if there was something we didn't write down, it might've just ended up becoming forgotten. That's not a problem with Fireflies. But honestly, one of the best things is that I can give my full attention to my clients on the calls now without having to worry about writing things down or missing notes. ### 9. Easy to use. I just upload the audio file and Fireflies does the rest. I was surprised to see the accuracy of the transcription, although some interview partners spoke the Austrian German dialect, which can be very tricky if you are not native. The summary is really cool, the insights and notes are perfect. Yes: FF makes me happy. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** It's not so cool that sometimes the speaker is changing in the transcript even though the sentence was not finished and the same person was still speaking in the audio recording. It makes it easier to get full coverage of what happened in a meeting that would otherwise require human summarisation, and we've been around long enough to know that it's mostly ineffective, an incredibly boring task and takes up valuable time that we could be spending elsewhere. Fireflies is an AI that covers an instrumental task that we don't want to do. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** It improves all the time so by the time yo read this review, I doubt it will still be a problem but some of the summarisation notes are a bit inaccurate or don't include things that I would have considered important. This makes sense though as what is important to me might not be important to the AI, but the improvements every time I use this software is insane. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nobody wants to take notes during a meeting, it's cumbersome, boring and takes up time that you could be spending in other places. I also record my meetings which can be clunky and it means that I sit with a hard dive full of recordings that pile up and never get summarised or tended to. Using it is also super-simple. It's basically just "there" watching your meetings and joining them as-needed. **What do you dislike about Fireflies.ai?** Really nothing to dislike; maybe if I could edit out the chit-chat at the beginning of a meeting before sending out the transcript that'd be nice. The tone is always different when it's you and the first one or two people joining the meeting and you're just asking about life / the weather / etc. No need to forward that along to everybody else. **What problems is Fireflies.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are two problems with conventional note-taking in meetings: You're missing out on the conversation when you're writing things down. You're not able to capture everything accurately. Now as a neuroscientist, I do know that there is a cognitive benefit to the act of writing something down, and that those memores are in-fact more likely to be potentiated and retained. So I wouldn't recommend it as your solution for lectures or learning content (at least not in lieu of taking your own notes), BUT for work-related meetings, where it's more about the context and action-items, it is likely better than what you can capture yourself. ### 47.
