The ability to create any analytics, fast and super easy, and receive insights Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Truely nothing, a great platform which keeps develops all time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
FinOut is a tool that anyone can use. It is super easy to set up and you can immediately start pulling insights out of the data. One major benefit over other solutions is pulling together multiple sources of data such as GCP, GKE, and Datadog. It helps to visualise the entire landscape of costs, rather than individual pieces. The FinOut team are really invested in their customers success and keep open channels of communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is designed to be simple to use, which can be a limitation when you want to move into more advanced usecases. It can be difficult to unify different data sources at scale (it is possible via APIs, but not easily manageable out of the box). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Underutilization of Finout's full functionality
Potential need for additional training to maximize the tool's benefits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Virtual tagging feature allows for building very robust cost attribution logic and consequently financial reporting. Makes tracking key cost metrics very easy. Implementation was relatively quick, at least for the standardized cost centers (AWS, GCP, etc.). Support team is very responsive and competent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Allocation of shared cost centers features are not quite there yet, although are on the roadmap. I'd also like to see more flexibilities in the visualizations (calculated columns, more types of charts, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The development velocity and speed of relevant features. The great connection and dedication to their customers and being open to feedback. Also, the product is feature rich, moving in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of small UX features and changes and that its still not one stop shop to all FinOps needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is, for the most part, easy to understand and use.
The customer support and helpfulness of all staff is also a huge bonus. I feel the team always listens to us and tries to help us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There have been a number of bugs, old and new, which can leave us less than confident in the data.
Some features not available for GCP
I notice some new users are overwhelmed by the number of filters and virtual tags, also the number of dashboards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finout is really easy and intuitive to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The hardest part about moving to Finout is the work needed to migrate from an existing tool (as would be the case with any tool), but this burden is made much easier with the help of the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The standout feature of Finout for me is its unparalleled ability in cost allocation and showback. This functionality makes it incredibly simple to monitor my team’s expenditures and swiftly identify areas where cost optimizations can be achieved. It’s a game-changer for managing financial operations with precision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While there is little to critique about Finout, if I had to pinpoint one area, it would be the user interface challenges that often come with adapting to the vast scale of enterprise environments. Nevertheless, I’ve found its interface quite navigable despite these complexities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It offers real-time monitoring of cloud resources, allowing for immediate adjustments and optimizations to avoid overuse and unexpected costs. Easy to implement, user friendly integration and interface and used frequnetly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Relying on an external tool for critical financial operations can introduce dependency, and any service disruptions or changes in Finout’s offerings could impact users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
