**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Web/Mobile Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma is an easy-to-use platform. Apart from having all their features and tools organized, it also allows you to organize your designs in several ways by using external plugins, layers, frames, sections, pages, and even more...

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The tool is more focused on Web Design, so it doesn't provide native tools or plugins for printing purposes. Also within the last release, they messed up the toolbar navigation a bit, so, all the things that I used to do changed from one place to another and I'm still trying to get used to it.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma helps me to collaborate with my stakeholders, it provides great feature to interact with clients through comments, calls, design states and more.

  ### 8. Great platform for collaboration

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma have really good capibilities of UI designing, Wireframing, creating web components, animations and many more, one the best thing i loved about the Figma is its Developer feature which gives you exact styling for your code, also have multiple pluggins like builder.io which genrates exact code for the desinged UI in the language we want example:angular, React JS, HTML + CSS and many more.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Figma have really good capability in terms of features, but while loading an figma file in browser it takes too much time, they need to improve it.
not really easy to learn for beginers, they should give some screen guide and AI assitance for new users.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma is helping us in creation of rapid prototypes for our customers, also our frontend developer community is using Figma developer tool for rapid development of UI, which have ready made stylings for each and every component.

  ### 10. Figma - The best software to use for UX Design.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen K. | Currently do to learn Ux designing with the help of figma software., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma boasts a clean and intuitive user interface that is easy to navigate, even for newcomers. The tool’s design is straightforward, with a focus on usability and efficiency. Key functions and features are easily accessible, allowing users to quickly get up to speed and start designing.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

While Figma offers a free tier, it is quite limited in terms of features and storage. The professional and organizational plans can be expensive, particularly for freelancers and small teams. Some users feel that the additional features provided in the paid plans do not justify the higher cost, making it a less attractive option compared to one-time purchase software

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating interactive prototypes often requires separate tools, leading to a disjointed workflow and difficulty in maintaining consistency between design and prototype.Designers can quickly create interactive prototypes without exporting or importing files, saving time and reducing the risk of inconsistencies between the design and the prototype.

  ### 11. A good software for software design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautam . | Design Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

It's a browser based platform, so I can use it anywhere and on any desktop/laptop. And a lot of features to use. Easy in prototyping and wireframing.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

As a customer, some time I need to talk someone for some urgent enquiry or issues, but there no direct communication, only can send mail.
- Some features are complicated to use, Like layout, component, and variables, these are good features but not use friendly

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Features should be easy to understand and user friendly. and some helpline number for direct communcation

  ### 12. Complet and usefull tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon C. | Ux Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

I use Figam every days from 6 months now
I was easy to start, the free version is enought to test and get a good idea of the product.
A lot of feature, all you need for UI
Easy and fast design when you understand components features.
Easy to share
Real time collaboration
The support client was quick and good, I paid for a plan I didn't want and I've been paid back.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The methode of paid access for teams/plan is a little obscure, no confirmation process.
I'd like to have more options for sharing (share only one design page, for example).
I'm new to Adobe XD and it was a bit tricky to get the hang of it at first.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Figma I can design the interface of a very complex product (an LMS).
I work with Figma throughout the design process, from wireframe to prototyping, and can ask my team to comment on each element.
Figma is regularly updated with new features and opens up new possibilities.

When you understand how the component and autolayout works, you can design new interface very quickly.

  ### 13. Future of Designing "FIGMA"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avilash B. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

There are a ton of things that i like about FIGMA :
1. Cloud or web browser based application hence, easy to implement, easy to use, flexible, can be used from any machine anywhere,
2. It has the access of plugins from various 3rd party applications hence versatile to use and implement,
3.As it can be used to create prototypes, it is being used many a times by me in a single day.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

1.The developer mode is only available on the premium subscription edition,
at least needed a trail feature so that it can be used at least for once by normal users for the very first time as well.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma is solving the problems like :
1. Code writing and implementing it with time consuming manner,
2. Easy developing of designs for designers which later can be used to make the developers understand the criterias,
3. Having 'developer mode' which will help to convert the frams and prototypes into easy accessible codes which can be later on implemented if needed, hence future proof.

  ### 14. Figma, a front-end developer's best friend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levan B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

As a front-end developer UX of Figma is one of the best that I have experienced, when the design is created in Figma everything is just light-work for front-end developer. Everything is measured you can even copy the css code and you are just like fish in the water. In my own experience, Figma’s support has been solid. The few times I’ve had to reach out, I’ve gotten helpful and timely responses. Plus, their Help Center has saved me a bunch of times when I needed quick answers. That said, the wait times can be a bit long during peak periods, and more complex issues might take a while to sort out. I'm using Figma almost daily, because as a front-end developer almost every task is done by how it is described and painted on Figma. It has smooth integration with development tools such as zeplin in my experience and of course Figma's own inspact feature makes it straightforward to hand off designs to developers. Figma also is very simple to implement into a front-end development workflow, you can quickly export design assets, use the inspect tool for CSS properties and integrate with other tools via APIs.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The only issue that I have with Figma is that it has some problems with large files, If you have a project with many artboards, images, and components, the performance can take a hit. This can make the app feel laggy and sometimes it even crashes. It’s annoying because it interrupts my workflow and can be a real time-waster.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma has been a huge help for me in front-end development. It’s made a lot of the tough stuff way easier. For instance, getting designs from Figma is like getting a cheat sheet for coding. It gives me all the details I need, like CSS stuff, so I can get things right the first time.Collaborating with the design team is way smoother too. No more waiting around for feedback. With Figma, we can all work on the same thing at the same time, which saves a ton of back-and-forth.And when it’s time to pass those designs over to the dev team, Figma makes it simple. It plays nicely with other tools, so there’s no fuss. And if I ever get stuck, Figma’s support team is there to help. They’re pretty reliable, and there’s a bunch of helpful stuff in their Help Center.Overall, using Figma every day just makes my job easier. It keeps everything organized and lets me focus on coding instead of dealing with design headaches.

Figma supports exporting in a variety of formats, however it does not offer as many customization options like webp or advanced PDF.

Traditional design workflows often struggle with collaboration because of file versioning issues, slow feedback, and difficulties in keeping team members aligned across different locations. Figma solves this by allowing teams to work together in real-time, share feedback instantly, and keep all design files in one place. This speeds up the design process, ensures consistency, and reduces miscommunication and lengthy review cycles.

Colloborative editing is a cool stuff in Figma.

Some advanced features are only available on the premium plan and not as a freemium, so it will be tough for freelancers/individual designers to invest in exploring something new.

It sometimes lags on web browsers.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SURAJ S. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma is a powerful and intuitive design tool that excels in collaborative work. Being able to drag and drop images and icons makes it so easy to use. I find the in app shapes etc a bit complicated coming from no design background but I'm working really quickly now I'm dragging and dropping. Its real-time editing and seamless sharing features make it a top choice for me .The cloud-based platform fosters smooth teamwork, making design projects efficient and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

It's great that you no longer need to run the desktop version of Figma to view prototypes on your phone. However, mirroring is still a sluggish experience, and I often find myself killing the app to restart mirroring as this fails once you've casted a screen, your phone goes on standby or locks itself. All you see after that is a blank screen with a loading state, or the cached screen that won't link out to another screen or perform an interaction anymore.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a designer, this app is so convenient and time saving for me.This app is amazing for doing visual design at all. It took no time to learn and get proficient on it. The content is cross platform accessible, so I built my prototype on the computer and then tested some people using my phone as the prototype. It's frigging awesome and I fully intent to buy the full version of this program to use in the future.

**Reviewed by:** Aldo Felipe d. | Coordenador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Figma?**

One of the best features of Figma is the ability to collaborate with other professionals on the same frame. Additionally, it is very easy to get familiar with the tools, as it is very similar to other software that I am used to using frequently. After a few years of using Figma daily, I have practically migrated from Photoshop almost 100% to Figma.
