I use Fieldwire by Hilti to view construction drawings, and it helps me add notes, deficiencies, and track progress. I love how easy it is to access everything on my mobile phone from anywhere. One of the best features is adding photos on the drawings, which lets me easily view everything captured in the photo for a particular location, even years later. I find Fieldwire by Hilti easy for punch list and project management. I like how I can mark exact locations right on the floor plan, log them to the issue log, assign them, and print out reports to send right off. The punch list workflow is what I like most. I can mark the issues on the plan, then print the plan with the issues on there along with backup sheets behind with pictures and issue information. It just helps track all the issues in real time, and it's great. For us the punch list issue tracker is a little bit easier and cheaper than Procore, which is why we chose it. I use Fieldwire by Hilti for FISP work and architecture, and it gives me better tracking of field work. It's easy to use. I use tasks a lot to save photos. I also use it with Excel — we created an Excel format so when we generate a CSV report, we inject it into the Excel with Xref links to photos to generate the FISP filing report that we can send to DOB. I'd like to see more color legend options. The price is my biggest concern. I don't think we should have to pay for follower access, since follower access lets people see tasks and pictures. What I like most about Fieldwire is how easy it is to use. It's amazing. I can just pull up a set of documents, expand it, add information to the blueprints, or correct information. It's the ease of corrections and the ease of having all the information at your fingertips. It solves the problem of having the information that's on the blueprints with us at all times, whether it's on our phones, laptops, computers, or iPads. Recently I had a 25 story building under renovation, and trying to carry that kind of information around with all those blueprints makes it impossible. Having Fieldwire lets us go from floor to floor, make notes, make corrections, look at the drawings, and all this at your fingertips. It's just astounding how well this product works. From a field standpoint, being able to have multiple sets of drawings, whether it's architectural, engineering, or MEPs, at your fingertips at any given time is such an advantage. From our office standpoint, for doing billings, corrections, and relaying information to and from the architectural and design teams, it makes it a breeze. I like how easy it is when documents and drawings are updated to have that information. whether it's adding an SK drawing to the blueprints or adding notations from the architect on our finished plans from client changes. It's easy to upload and easy for the team to have at their fingertips, even in the field when you're walking around different job site areas, so you don't have to constantly go back to the office to retrieve this information. The forms is also very useful for daily jobsite reports and the offline feature is a huge benefit for projects that don't have great reception. I really appreciate the management capabilities of Fieldwire by Hilti for managing millwork construction projects at J Suss Industries. I use it for drawing management, install tasks management, RFIs, site requests, and logging work orders and photos. As a general contractor, Fieldwire has been extremely helpful for us. It has given us a platform that centralizes communication and allows management to monitor real-time progress on our jobsites. The application has also saved us time when preparing progress reports, RFIs, and PCNs. Additionally, Fieldwire makes it much easier to do drawing mark-ups and plan reviews thanks to its digital features. Overall, Fieldwire has helped us transition from traditional pen-and-paper methods to a digital workflow, resulting in greater efficiency in our project implementation.
