I love that Fieldwire by Hilti is very easy to use. It's intuitive and has all the tools I need to do markups of blueprints and plans, and I can incorporate all different file types that I use. I can organize it any way I want. I heavily use the tasks feature, adding photos, technical diagrams, and my thoughts. I also really like the ability to export all the collected information as a nice summary document. Plus, I can change logos to my own company's logo and turn it into my own white-labeled form. It's a great way to knowledge share and keeps everything organized exactly how I want it. I would appreciate the ability to format the exports more rather than relying on the one or two canned formats that we can export. I understand that that's probably not the hugest deal, but it would add a touch of polish to where I could even more easily put it in front of an end user if I could actually control the way it exports, meaning format it the way I want it formatted. I like how Fieldwire by Hilti makes it easy to record dimensions on plans, especially with the use of the text box and different colors on my iPad, which is easier and more legible than writing with a stylus. I also appreciate how seamless the interface is for recording field dimensions and quickly sending them to my designer to update our plans. Additionally, it's handy that I can capture pictures right there on the plans. The fact that Fieldwire by Hilti is easier than other solutions like PDF Expert made the switch worthwhile. The details panel is a bit cluttered. I would also like to see a multiple copy feature versus one copy at a time. If you could make it easier to add team members to projects, that would be good. I find Fieldwire by Hilti incredibly valuable for its drawing management and auto hyperlinks. Our foremen don't use printed sets anymore because of how efficient it is to update Fieldwire. Drawing revisions & JD drawings can easily be uploaded instead of bringing paper copies to the site. The auto hyperlinks make moving through the drawing set a breeze. They allow our team to quickly and efficiently browse through sheets & details. Also, the forms section has greatly improved our T&M tracking, completely solving the issue of lost or damaged paper tickets and streamlining the process. I appreciate being able to log in at any time to see how many open items there are and help close out the completed ones. Additionally, the initial setup of Fieldwire was seamless for our team. I still cannot figure out how to achieve Docusign integration for sending T&M tickets out for signature. Customer support is lacking since it's an email-only platform, and when someone finally responds, it's around 5 or 6 pm our time, outside of normal operating hours. I use Fieldwire by Hilti to manage our Architectural Projects, and it does an amazing job at handling projects with many sheets. I don't have to worry about accidentally grabbing an outdated sheet, as I can look back at the history to track change orders. I also use it to track open items on projects and have had great success managing the ever-changing nature of some of them. I really like the quick and intuitive user interface that lets me bounce from drawing set to drawing set. It eliminates the clumsy document management of the past, allowing me to get to exactly the drawing I need quickly. The uploading procedure for drawings is a little clumsy. Sometimes I want to separate different editions of the same drawings into different folders, but Fieldwire forces all sheets with the same number to be the same. Managing shop-drawings or submittals is clumsy because not all sheets have numbers, or not all sheets have different sheet numbers. I'd like it if, when I uploaded a drawing into a project folder, all sheets would automatically land in that one folder and not necessarily be automatically moved. We use Fieldwire to manage projects and collect information from our contractors and customers. The UI is mostly straightforward to use and the mobile app makes it easy to request documentation from customers and for our installers to document the install process. We have integrated the fieldwire forms into our quoting processes which has greatly sped up and improved the flow for quoting customers and receiving quotes from contractors. Reliability for the most part has been good, there have been occasional slowdowns but nothing that has been debilitating and they have not been a common occurrence. Support has been great to work with when we have had issues or questions and were quick to respond and solve issues. The ability to connect our customers, contractors and project managers alone has given us an immediate payback and return on our investment for Fieldwire. The reports that can be generated have given us nice audit trails and are appreciated by our customers. The ai photo tagging is hit or miss especially with how our drawings vary customer to customer. The main dislikes have been around the occasional outage, while not debilitating they are annoying. The ai floorplan reader is hit or miss. Copy and paste doesn't work as well as it should. The task attributes, while nice, are a little annoying to access on mobile where most of our contractors work so we can’t utilize them as well as we would like. I like how I can be working on a large job site and have multiple coworkers on the same site, where all of our captured data syncs onto our iPads using Fieldwire by Hilti. It helps keep track of data captured in the field with multiple people working on-site, increasing efficiency and helping with organization. I wish there were a scheduling feature to manage the entire construction schedule across all scopes. We use their task tool, but it's geared toward 2–3 week lookaheads rather than planning a 12–18 month schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Fieldwire by Hilti allows us to simply take photos during site surveys and automatically recognizes and stores them into the docs/files. I appreciate the ease of importing photos from our computer to the camera hyperlink compared to Plangrid. One thing to be improved would be the export plan feature. When exporting plans, the hyperlink cameras only allow for one image within the hyperlink to appear when in fact the hyperlink can contain more than one image. I use Fieldwire by Hilti to upload plans, submittals, and check off tasks that need to get done in the field. I appreciate printing fewer plans and having everything accessible at my fingertips. Fieldwire is easy to use and very simple, and I find it makes my work more efficient. I also enjoy how easy it is to overlay a new set of plans with an old set, which allows me to see any changes engineers have made and quickly know if I need to send a change order or submit an RFI.
