We love that everyone who uses it can be anywhere at anytime. Our project managers have the ability to get real time updates on where there project is at all times. While some might not consider it a downside, being 100% paperless is not totally ideal for us. Order confirmations are uploaded but when we check in our actual product it is nice to have the order confirmation printed so we can check off that each item on it is in fact correct and has been received. It is also tedious to jump from the order confirmation and estimate when we bill unlike a printed job file that would contain everything in it for me to look at side by side. I like the adaptability to use my own forms within the software. I do a ton of quality control checks - so the ability to upload simple checkbox PDFs as a template and create form per suite is vital. The task function has also proven its worth ten-fold. When you're trying to keep trades in the know about deficiencies or next steps for work needing to be done, creating a task, pinning it on the drawings and then sending out a report to that trade specifically is very efficient. Support staff who work with Fieldwire have been helpful whenever I have had any questions or issues. Overall the performance of the software has been awesome. I do wish there were capabilities to have outside users or those who don't have a Fieldwire license to be integrated into the projects and be able to view everything associated. I like the ease of use of Fieldwire by Hilti. It's simple and anybody can pick it up. The tools are very simple and concise. You can dig deep with all the features if you want, but the basic features that the crew needs on-site are straightforward and very easy to use. I also appreciate how we get great reviews from clients when they see how simple and easy Fieldwire is without the burden of too many features. I feel that Fieldwire by Hilti doesn't handle reporting distribution well with instant signing. It still has to be manually sent out. The UI could be a bit more graphical, although it's not a big complaint, just a reference compared to other plan management software I've used. The markup tools aren't as intuitive as they could be. It has a simple, user-friendly structure, but it still lets me customize and track multiple tasks and changes across my projects. I also like being able to have multiple members from my office connected and aligned on the same project, with the ability to view real-time updates and issues directly on my blueprints. Fieldwire allows all of our field supervisors to have the most current sets of plans and information on our jobsites. They are able to notate issues / details on the plan and tag our team to get a solution without ever having to pick up the phone. All of the pictures and notes can then be pulled out into a report that we can then send to our client as back up for a Change Order or to create an RFI. We are able to upload documents and spec sheets to Fieldwire as well so that everyone has the correct information and can show to inspectors if needed. The Forms are extremely useful as well, we can now have daily reports, safety audits, extra hour tracking, etc directly on the job and they will always be there if needed. Some areas that could be improved is distribution lists for the forms that are created. Due to changes of supervisors from job to job, right now the recipients of completed forms have to be manually changes for each job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Fieldwire by Hilti keeps all our projects in one place, which makes it easy to do everything we need. I appreciate the ease of use, which simplifies managing our projects. I also find it helpful that we can send stuff to people outside our company, like submittals to architects for approval. I like having access to all projects across one platform with Fieldwire by Hilti. It's easy and convenient to access, which speeds up work times and improves efficiency. I don't have to worry about paper copies, which is a big help. I also appreciate being able to keep everything for one job locally on my mobile device, which is really handy for documenting works carried out on construction sites and viewing drawings and files. It's very intuitive and provides clear and detailed projects. The forms, used by our on site reporting team are simple to create and amend but also far simpler for the site team to fill in allowing accurate information to be passed from the team in the office to the live site. Easy to learn and implement, my staff in the field become proficient quickly. It is also very quick and easy to upload new revisions to ensure everyone has the most up to date documents. I don't feel like the tasks feature is very user friendly and have not found it very applicable, I have tried using it on various projects and don't find it very helpful. It is also a little difficult/cumbersome to share documents with subcontractors. It would also be helpful to have a submittal/shop drawing feature so shop drawings could be viewed similar to plans.
