The upside of Field Nation is that I have found two awesome technician's for our recently expanded area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Having to type in the same address twice. I create a client, start up a work order, and it does not autofill the same address. This is extremely annoying. There should be a toggle button check mark that says, "Use same address as client." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you are able to search for specific requirements from a wide array of technicians all across the country. I also utilize the ability to view the individual tech profiles, how many total jobs they've completed, and what types of jobs they would be best suited for our company to utilize them for. I wouldn't consider this a dislike but more of another option to hold the techs more accountable for last-minute cancellations. If we cancel a job on a confirmed tech, we pay them a $30 fee. However, if they cancel last minute on a job they've confirmed for us they are only held accountable by their cancelation percentage. I suggest finding a reasonable way to weed out a tech who chooses to cancel last minute for something other than an emergency. This could be something as simple as a mandatory $30 discount on the next job they accept for the company they canceled on last minute. I realize this may be something that would require more backend work on the platform, but it could also potentially alleviate a tech canceling because they woke up and just didn't want to work that day for a non-emergency reason. field nation is the best platform for dispatching and coordinating with field technicians.it is a legit platform it also help you finds best technicians where you can check their complete work experience and rating about their previous jobs which helps me to find the suitable and experience technician according to my work order requirement . i create work order on field nation every day and quickly get a request from suitable tech within the area and get request with counter offer as well the best thing of the field nation is its stored template once the template is stored it can be replicated multiple times.the user interface is quite easy and the dashboard has every option according to the required work.it has made the Dispatch more easy than before. Not being able to make adjusments on total time submitted by providers. Providers may use this to their advantage by submitting more hours for a job by delaying their checkout time.

Not able to make internal ratings on providers that were previously used by 3rd party companies for WOs that were contracted to the 3rd party.

Not able to view WOs created by other companies that were assinged to providers. Should atleast be ablet to see company who created WO, total time tech took to complete WO, max time needed to complete WO. Ratings & feedback should be seperate windows when WOs are complete. Ratings should atleast be mandotory when completed WO & feedback to be optional. Lots of providers have 5 star ratings vs no ratings which skews a providers quality from other providers. Star ratings needs a guidline on how to properly scale a providers work on a WO.

Do providers have option to counter offer on WOs at a lower set asking price to bring competiveness for providers with very little experience to no experience? I believe it makes it harder for providers that aren't established to compete with already establised providers on platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
