Fidel provides transaction data to clients through API. In this routine service, they made a great customer success experience for me with thoughtful care and following up with details. I couldn't imagine the B2B service company can make this kind of customer success!
Also, Fidel exceeds my expectation, always. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hum...well I couldn't tell something 'dislike' but more flexible functions are demanded. But most of the inflexibility is coming from network card companies, so it's not only their matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The API is powerful and very easy to use. Our Customer Success Manager is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No dislikes. The webhooks are great for real-time integrations; it would be even nicer if a streaming option existed (ala kafka/kinesis). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fidel API is a highly scalable and responsive payments platform that empowers merchants and developers to build better experiences for end-users with any device. They have an intuitive interface so you can save time and effort on content production. We partnered up with them 2 years ago and they've been doing great since. The Fidel team we're working with has been a great help in getting our cashback program approved. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure we're all on the same page, and I recommend them to anyone looking for new ways of implementing or adopting different technology. We also love the fact that you can choose the experience you want for your customers, whether it's a world-class checkout or integrated financial tools using the Fidel API. I liked everything about this company - they're a reliable company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's a lot of marketing noise while looking for a provider of transaction data. Fidel is the only company right now that offers developers the ability to build with real-time transaction data. Fidel also provides a higher degree of data quality - i.e. more accurate merchant names - so developers don't need to spend time trying to enrich and clean their transaction data sets. The webhook documentation could be more clear for developers as it's a tricky part of integration to ensure transactions are updating to include a tip or being removed if an item has been returned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration has been incredibly easy and smooth from our end. The javascript API was a doddle to set up. The Fidel dashboard itself sets the company apart from competitors we've worked with. It's really easy to use and we can find everything we need to keep our integration running smoothly. Access to support and help from here is also a pleasant experience, with help on hand usually within hours of reaching out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love to see more options for the front end of the integration for our site. While the UI is customisable through the JS SDK, it would be great to be able to use it in a way that is more seamless with our user journey and UI. Potentially having more reports on insights from the dashboard would be useful. We've built a lot of these ourselves for reporting but a simple report page here would be great (how many new cards were added, daily/monthly transaction values etc). Being able to get your transactions immediately upon swipe. I have been integrating Fidel API into our new application and have really loved the ease of API documentation. I can't wait to tell everyone about Fidel API! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't run into anything yet. we love it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to utilize instant transaction data. One of the biggest complaints from our users, when we utilized Plaid, was that they had to wait sometimes up to 24 hours for their transactions to come in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We would love Fidel to have an Amex integration at some point. We have a lot of Amex users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Card-linking technology makes earning rewards seamless for both customers and merchants. It makes stamp cards look pre-historic and is a truly revolutionary technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Card-linking is hampered by the onboarding challenges to match the merchant IDs. Fidel put a beautiful UI in front of what is a very manual and sometimes frustrating process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fidel API team is really strong in terms of technical capabilities and great collaborative partners to work with. We've thrown many complex problems at the team and have always found meaningful solutions jointly at the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The indirect relationship vis-a-vis the card networks can sometimes make getting things done harder vs. directly being able to push the card networks on proposed product changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API is easy to set up. The Fidel portal is user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not easy to talk to the decision-makers within Fidel, it's hard to get to the right people. Decisions from Fidel side can take quite long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
