FedEx Ship Manager Pros and Cons

I can see all theto surcharges that we pay and I like to be able to see the intransit times. We are having a terrible time with receiving packages on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use FedEx Ship manager every day and it is one of the easiest programs to use for shipping. I have implemented the use of it with WooCommerce. It is so easy to use and opens the door for so many features with this integration. They also have excellent customer support, any issues I have had, are handled quickly and effectively. There are times when I have a package coming to my home, but I have to run to the store or office and am not sure if I will be able to receive it in time. I have used Fex Ex-manager many times to manage my deliveries to either have the package sent to my apartment complex office or held at a nearby fed ex location to ensure I get my package. The automatic rates you are given are not even close to competitive with other companies. You have to talk to your sales rep on the phone to be given a better deal. The interface has not been updated practically since the internet began, and it is clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can see updated shipment progress. I also like tracking my packages via the web or app on my mobile device or tablet. I usually get notifications every day that there is movement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would prefer if the tracking progress were updated in real-time every step of the way. I also wish that there were contact info available for each station that the package is sent to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FedEx Ship Manager does an alright job of helping you to generate shipping labels and create commercial documents for your international shipments. The User Interface is simple and straight forward, easy to pickup quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The User Interface is a bit antiquated, I would like a lot more quick functions to populate data for repeat shipments more quickly. I have had the occasion of running into unsolvable errors where I cannot move forward, but FedEx Ship Manager won't tell me what fields are the issue or how to address it, I usually have to restart from that point. The FedEx Ship Manager was super helpful to me when I needed to mail packages from our office. I used to work at the front desk before getting promoted and many times, people would need a package shipped at the last minute. I was able to log in, create a label, print it and get a package shipped all in a few minutes. It was really helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I disliked about this program is that sometimes I would change the address and then it would malfunction and lose the data I entered, which then I had to do it again because it was lost. Also, the international shipping would get confusing depending on the location so I would have to go into an office for help once in awhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
