"Fathom Is a Huge Time-Saver for Accurate Meeting Summaries and Action Items"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I've been using Fathom daily, and it has made a big difference in my workflow. It automatically records important meetings, creates accurate summaries, and captures key action items, so I can stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes. The integration with Claude AI is especially helpful, allowing me to quickly turn meeting recordings into detailed summaries, training documents, and reports. It's a huge time-saver and helps ensure nothing important gets missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

The UI could be a little better as manual recording at request should be added in the main page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automated Meeting Documentation and Action Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom eliminates the need for manual note-taking by automatically recording, transcribing, and summarizing meetings. It accurately captures key discussion points, decisions, and action items, so nothing important gets missed. The searchable meeting history makes it easy to revisit past conversations and decisions whenever you need to. Its seamless integration with meeting platforms also helps teams stay focused and productive during discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Fathom’s meeting summaries can occasionally miss important context or the nuance of certain discussions. I’ve also noticed that some of the more advanced features and integrations are limited to higher-tier plans. Because of this, the tool may still require a post-meeting review to confirm that action items are captured accurately and nothing important is overlooked. Additionally, recording and transcribing sensitive meetings may raise privacy concerns for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered Notes That Make Client Calls Effortless and Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I absolutely love this note taker and all the features it has. The AI mode has been incredibly helpful for me, especially during client calls. If I ever forget something that was mentioned, I can simply go back and ask the AI instead of having to search through pages of notes or rewatch the entire call. It gives me the information right away, which saves me so much time.

Another feature I love is the action items summary at the end of each call. It helps me stay organized, keep myself on track, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The follow-up email templates are also amazing. They make it so much easier and faster to send professional recap emails to clients after meetings.

Overall, this tool has made my workflow so much more efficient, organized, and stress-free. Highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fathom is very easy to use and has quickly become a valuable tool in my workflow. The note-taking is efficient and accurate, helping me capture key points from meetings without distraction. Overall, it is a simple, effective, and well-integrated solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flawless workflow fit with fast, accurate transcripts and smart AI summaries"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom integrates flawlessly with my workflow. While my non-digital clients just see a standard Zoom or Google Meet call, Fathom works quietly in the background.

The interface is clean and distraction-free. Fathom’s UI makes it effortless to organize call playlists and locate transcripts without a steep learning curve.

Performance is rock-solid. The transcription accuracy, even when dealing with technical jargon is great. The software loads instantly, and the call processing takes few minutes, meaning I never delay my client follow-ups.

Hence the ROI is clear and immediate. In a low-margin, high-stakes service industry, time is money. Fathom saves me hours of manual data entry per week.

The AI intelligence is impressive, even in the free plan. The standard summaries are great, but the custom templates will allow me to structure summaries exactly how my white-label partners expect them. Furthermore, the 'Ask Fathom' feature acts like a smart assistant; I can ask it to extract specific sentences discussed weeks ago without re-watching hours of video.

Finaly when I deliver a new digital solution, onboarding non-digital users can be a major challenge. With Fathom, I can easily share targeted video clips of our calls to provide exact, contextual help. This visual, step-by-step guidance allows my clients to easily understand the digital tool, overcome tech anxiety, and get off to a much smoother, confident start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

If I had to nitpick, the UI colors can feel a bit too flashy or high-contrast when using the dark theme. However, this is a minor subjective critique. The platform's overall layout is so simple, intuitive, and clean that the color palette never gets in the way of usability or stops me from getting my work done. "Takes the Pressure Off Meetings with Clear Summaries, Transcripts, and Action Items"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I really appreciate the free tier and I like the app a lot. What I like most about Fathom is how much pressure it takes off during meetings—I can stay focused on the conversation without worrying about taking notes. The summaries afterward are also easy to refer back to later. I do refer to the transcripts a whole lot and the ability to revisit the meeting is great.

I’ve also found the action items section especially useful. It makes it much easier to understand who discussed what, who mentioned which point, and what the key takeaways from the meeting were. The features for auto record and auto share the auto meeting with options for internal and external is great for control. I do tend to pause recording as per requirements in the meeting and the access is quite straight forward. so kudos to the design team. The interface is intuitive and straightforward, even for someone using it for the first time.

One thing I’d love to see in the future is an option for offline recording capture as well. That would really be the icing on the cake. Rest be assured I love using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

One downside is that there’s no offline recording option. Competing products do offer this, but their pricing and available options are a problem. Phone-based apps also include this feature. Can Fathom be used to transcribe a meeting that was captured on a phone? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ask Fathom Is a Game-Changer for Searchable Meetings, Summaries, and Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

Ask Fathom has been a genuine game changer for me.

I lead multiple teams and have several meetings each day, so it can be difficult to remember every action point, decision, or broader discussion, especially when it comes to strategic planning. Ask Fathom gives me one central place where I can quickly search across my meetings and find what was discussed, instead of relying on my memory or digging through notes.

One of the most valuable use cases for me is being able to ask Fathom for all the key topic points from my meetings over the last week. This is incredibly useful when I need to report updates to upper management, prepare for follow-up conversations, or make sure important actions do not get missed.

The meeting summaries are also very helpful. Being able to send a clear summary to attendees, including action points, saves time and keeps everyone aligned after the meeting. It reduces the need for manual follow-up notes and helps make sure there is a shared understanding of what was agreed.

The desktop UI is excellent as well. I like that it opens just before a meeting, shows my upcoming meetings, and gives me quick access to previous meetings. I’m currently using Fathom with Microsoft Teams, and the integration has been seamless with no issues.

Another big benefit is how quickly the summary and recording are available after the meeting ends. That makes it easy to review the discussion while it is still fresh, share updates, and move straight into the next action.

Overall, Fathom has made my meeting workflow much easier, especially from a leadership and reporting perspective. It helps me stay organised, remember the important details, and spend less time manually pulling together meeting notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

The desktop UI for MS Windows is fixed and can’t be dragged around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear and well-organized reports that make it easy to remember the most important things"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

The report generated by Fathom is very explicit and is organized correctly. Although it may sometimes contain a spelling error, the summary allows the user to remember the most important points of the meeting at the end of the day or the week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Sometimes it takes a little while to join Teams meetings. Also, the space it occupies on the participants' screen could be a bit more discreet. Other than that, I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
