"Keeps Me Focused in Interviews with Effortless Note-Taking"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I love that it helps me take notes while I am doing interviews so that I can be fully focused on the candidate I am speaking with, rather than being distracted by trying to transcribe the call as it is going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I added the Chrome Extension because I thought that it would allow me to start the meeting or start the recording, but it only has the logout button. This feature would be very helpful as well. Thank you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Meeting Summaries with Seamless Agenda Sync"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

It’s very accurate and helps me summarize long meetings without having to overthink whether Fathom is skipping anything important. It doesn’t. It also syncs with my agenda, so I don’t need to add it manually. I love it! I use it on Mac, there is an easy downloader so no problem there. Support reaches out to check if there is anything they can help you with. I use it almost everyday on al my meetings in Google Meet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

For now no downsides. And if htere where I really would have told you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unobtrusive Notetaker with Great Transcripts, Summaries, and Task Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom feels pretty unobtrusive on calls. I let folks know that my notetaker is on and most are ok with it. The transcripts and summaries are great. It's even able to auto generate tasks for me. I love being able to share calls with my team, being able to copy the transcript and analyze with whatever AI tool I want, and the talk time / monologue meter on calls is awesome. Looking forward to playing more with Ask Fathom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I don't blindly trust the summaries. They're a starting point but I review actual numbers, etc. before using. The call library feels like it could be a bit more intuitive -- but this is me looking for things to put in the dislike box vs actually feeling dissatisfied. "Revolutionized Our Meeting Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I use Fathom for meeting recordings and transcriptions and getting meeting summaries. The transcription quality is really great compared to other tools - e.g. Fireflies or Woodpecker. It accurately gets the names and terms right during an English transcription. Fathom integrates seamlessly with Google Meet, which is fantastic as I can add the notetaker with just a click of a button. Having meeting transcripts and summaries has significantly helped both with the services we offer to our clients and internally for task tracking. The setup was easy, and we use it every day with a team of 30 people. There's really no better tool right now, and I'm likely to rate it a 9 or 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I wish for the option to be able to create playlists of my own but also of recordings I have access to, i.e. shared with me by my colleagues. And having the option to share the playlist via link. For example, being able to collect videos for onboarding purposes in one playlist that is shareable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automates Tasks, Enhances Meeting Engagement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I use Fathom for note-taking for my clients, and it really helps with tasks because I have it automated to go into my task manager. This way, my tasks come straight from Fathom and into my task manager, so they're all ready to go. Fathom is great for communication and being present in meetings. It allows me to focus on my client, make eye contact, and be present without worrying about taking notes. I love that I get the highlights and summaries from meetings, and I have the recordings, so if I miss something, I can go back and find it. My clients and I really appreciate the meeting summaries from Fathom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

It's sometimes difficult when you go to the Fathom site to change settings. So that needs to be better and more intuitive. It's also difficult to change your plans within Fathom. Very difficult. So that needs to be better and more intuitive as well. More user-friendly. It also needs to be easier to get in touch with Fathom support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Instant Meeting Notes, Flawless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I love how Fathom sends all the data back to us so quickly. As soon as the meeting finishes, I have the notes, the recording, and the action items in my mailbox within a few minutes. The initial setup was super easy too, with hardly any effort required. It's just a matter of initial integrations which happen with a few clicks. We switched from Zoom and Otter, and with Fathom, we found what we were looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

nothing - it works great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Zoom App for Recording and Transcribing Qualitative Interviews"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

I love that it is an easy App to use within a direct integration to Zoom. I have used it to record and transcribe consumer interviews for my qualitative research projects. In addition to using Fathom to provide transcripts, I also use Fathom to create video clips to use in reports. It is nice to be able to log-in to Fathom directly and see all of my past videos in one place. Recently a client asked me about an interview from 18 months ago. I was able to log-in, view the AI summary, access the video, and see the list of attendees. No onboarding was needed, because it is so easy to use. I haven't had to use support. The software always worked when I needed it and the speed was fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Some of the transcription isn't great. It misinterprets some of the words that are said, but it is better than other transcription tools that I have used. You get 5 more advanced AI transcriptions a month, and then unlimited "basic" transcriptions a month. If I were using Fathom all the time, I would pay for the premium service. Right now, because I don't need any additional support, I haven't paid for the premium service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Superior-Quality Notes That Are Ready to Share Instantly"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

What stands out most is the superior quality of the notes, even when the discussion covers complex or abstract topics. From the very first use, my notes were ready immediately and easy to send to my client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I honestly can’t think of any real downside. I’m not especially tech-savvy, but I was still able to integrate it with Zoom and get everything up and running without much difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Summaries and Automatic Attendee Sharing That Impress"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

The summaries are accurate and useful, I never need to go into the recording or transcript to correct anything. And the automatic distribution to attendees is something that always gets a positive response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

The only thing I've struggled with, and to be fair I haven't done much research on how to correct it, is when I want to add Fathom to an adhoc meeting or use in a in-person meeting. It's be great to set if off and capture the conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands-Free Call Recording with Accurate Transcripts and Effortless Sharing"
5/5
What do you like best about Fathom?

What I like best about Fathom is that the bot joins the call on its own and operates fully independently from my device. The recording and transcription run on Fathom's side, so I don't need to worry about my connection, my battery or whether my laptop stays awake. Even when I have a poor internet connection or have to drop off briefly, the call is still being captured end-to-end.

The transcription itself is also very accurate, with clear speaker identification, so it's easy to follow who said what when reviewing the call afterwards.

Lastly, the sharing experience is great. I can send a link to colleagues or clients without having to download or attach anything, which makes it very smooth to circulate notes or specific moments of a call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I can’t see who has spoken in the transcript, which makes it hard to follow the conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
