Its easy to use, it takes great notes, provides a breakdown of everything important from the meeting and also gives you a transcript which is helpful in about a million different ways.

The interface is straightforward, it perfectly integrates with all the major meeting platforms, and I think in the year that I've been using it only had technical issues once that were already known to the team and fixed within the hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I don't like is that it can't create transcripts of past meetings. I can't give it a meeting recording and get the transcript. But that is just a small nit pick rather than something that has a large effect on use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Fathom is how straightforward and clean the UI/UX is. Everything is easy to find without feeling overwhelming. I especially like the dark theme and the way my calls are organized by month. Being able to immediately see the meeting name, video, and other details makes it really easy to find a specific call when I need it.

The transcription and AI features are also very useful because they save me from having to take detailed notes during meetings. I can stay focused on the conversation and go back to the recording or transcript afterward if I need to review something.

What I like best about Fathom is how it automatically provides highlights, a full transcript, and a clear summary of the meeting. Compared to other note-taking platforms, Fathom makes sharing recorded meetings and notes exceptionally user-friendly while keeping your internal notes private (because who needs another login to a tool they'll never use, e.g., Fireflies notetaker)

1. Transcription is relatively accurate, but it can generate incorrect speaker assignments if you tend to talk fast or talk over each other.

2. I'd like to be able to open the notetaker app as a stand-alone tool when I'm not recording a meeting I attend or in instances when my notetaker isn't authorized to join a 3rd party meeting. It's very simple to use and I like the way that it organizes the notes. I have the option of looking at the initial takeaway summaries and assignments, or I can scroll down and go deeper into the conversation. Their ease of access: every recording gets saved automatically and the Meet recorder automatically joins whenever I'm going to a meet so I don't need to make sure I open Fathom again. That is the most incredible part Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the recaps, even when we talk in two different languages (afrikaans and english) it has a way of finding the correct context. The UI works so so easy, and it helps me keep on track and avoid "hogging the mic" or monologuing too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can honestly say very very little. I am in awe of the functions given even to a free account, the paid one is a bit pricy here in South Africa, but honestly that is more a reflection of me being unemployed than the product and features value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
