I will have to see, how well I can personalise the view. Obviously you can change all colours and logos to theme it to your likings, but I will have to see how to get e.g. the products in a flex row container instead of the list. Being able to have global sales tax/VAT collection and payments to all the various countries is a huge burden lifted. And when it came to implementation, they worked very hard to keep the whole process moving to integrate with our website, IDP, licensing fulfillment and finance system. The developers of the Store Builder Library make certain assumptions when it comes to how people would add things to their cart - like if you upgrade to a bundle you wouldn't want to add another of those same items that you DON'T upgrade.We were able to work around these, but it caused more trouble than was necessary as we should have options in these situations. FastSpring is really good about helping you get set up quickly with a storefront that will meet your needs. They will check in with you regularly to be sure you are getting the support you need. Once the store is set up, it couldn't be simpler to manage. They provide a ton of customization options that are easy to use, and they handle everything related to transactions which is the most important thing to me. Integrating with certain types of products for license keys can be somewhat tedious. For selling my Android app, I was able to integrate using QLM from Soraco Technologies which was a breeze. When it came to selling my Windows 10 app, there was no tight integration with Infralution's license server so I had to just rely on license keys. We are a SAAS and we sell subscriptions to an analytics app. Fastspring helps us a lot by taking the pain of:

- managing subscriptions

- processing payments from Brasil

- coupons

- products

- invoicing in Myanmar

- one invoice for our accountants

When you're just starting and want to find clients and do product market fit any of the above is a real pain.

Their ui/ux design is lacking:

1. the cart (this is more painful because it's client facing) feels dated (look at stripe..). But i can get past this because they invoice with the right vat our clients in > 50 countries...

The setup of the account and of a standard dproduct page was very easy

The order process uses my serial key generator which resides on my webserver.

It seems that FastPring is a software that has grown constantly, since it has made relationships with other relatively large organizations, which triggers that when requesting support about a doubt or problems with your system, the support does not comply with responding to such help forms, highlighting that it is a problem because it has unleashed lesser sized companies, which means that it does not provide management and tools for optimal growth.
