What do you like best about FastSpring?

FastSpring is a great solution build for an ISV in mind: it is easy to set up, great customer service, fees are reasonable and very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sellers' support ticket is currently very poor. I have observed the quality of their support deteriorate over the years: tickets take longer (days) to hear a response, and even when you do, the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering FastSpring:

I'd suggest to go through the support material thoroughly to get a good understanding of how to setup your products within FastSpring. Also, the Fast Spring staff helped me to get my first template after my main website for free. It save me a lot of time, especially as I am trying to get the online store up and running. What do you like best about FastSpring?

You don't need a merchant account or a payment gateway... which is the most difficult part about setting up alternative solutions. Fastspring also have fairly flexible ways to pay you (as the vendor). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastSpring?

Out of the box, the payments page that customers see looks a bit budget. Also, credit card charges will be from a fairly cryptic acronym rather than anything customers will clearly recognize as having come from your company. Pricing will also be quite a bit steeper than alternatives once you start to do any significant volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering FastSpring:

If you come from some backwater where Stripe and Braintree aren't yet available, Fastspring is a good alternative to having to deal with the traditional (read agonizing) payment gateways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
