**What do you like best about Fairing?**

I've implemented Fairing across 25+ clients over the past 2-3 years. Every single client is still using Fairing insights on a daily basis. Why? The data forms a key part of their understanding of what drives customers to purchase and the decision making process they go through. The ability to then gain key qual and quantitative data allows for smarter segmentation, better personalisation and better business results.

There are a steady stream of updates to the app that have helped gain a better understanding of LTV data on a cohort basis as well as time series that allow you to spot trends, especially useful when it comes to considerations for your Meta Ads strategies.

2-3 Shopify apps are my 'essentials'. Fairing is one of them. A highly recommended tool for all ecommerce marketers, whatever stage of growth you're at.

**What do you dislike about Fairing?**

The way data is pushed into Klaviyo is a little cumbersome as Klaviyo's custom properties are in a drop-down format with a limited character length and Fairing questions are usually for longer. I'm literally scraping the barrel to think of something I dislike here....!

**What problems is Fairing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to show clients the real reasons and uses of their products. Far beyond a simple 'attribution' app that gains insights on how people find you, I use Fairing to get a far better understanding of the customer's motivations.

**What do you like best about Fairing?**

Fairing has an easy to use question bank so I don't have to build questions and topics from scratch, but rather implement recommended questions. Because it only takes a few clicks to create the survey questions from their bank, we've been able to increase the amount of information we have about customers significantly.  And when we begin to see trends from customers filling in answers from the Other option, we can easily create a new option and recode those previously submitted answers to make analysis simple.

**What do you dislike about Fairing?**

Would love more filters in the analysis. Would be great to filter responses based on what a customer purchased.

**What problems is Fairing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving us customer insights. For example, we're asking New customers how they first heard about us. We're using this to validate where we've allocated our marketing resources and where we'll continue to do so.

**What do you like best about Fairing?**

It gives us super quick insights into where our customers are coming from and why they bought. The post-purchase surveys are easy to set up, and the data has helped us make better marketing decisions without the guesswork.

**What do you dislike about Fairing?**

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If I had to pick something, I’d say maybe a bit more flexibility in customizing the survey flow or logic would be great. But overall, it does what it promises really well.

**What problems is Fairing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fairing helps us bridge the gap between what our tracking tools miss and what customers actually tell us. Especially with attribution getting harder, it’s been super valuable to get direct answers post-purchase. It gives us clarity on what channels are really driving conversions and helps us fine-tune our marketing spend.

**What do you like best about Fairing?**

At ByGartner, we’ve tested several survey tools for our Shopify storefronts, and Fairing quickly stood out. It’s incredibly intuitive to set up and customize, even for non-technical team members. The integration is easy and intuitive. Response rates have been solid, and whenever we’ve had a question, the support team has been quick and helpful.

So fa we haven’t run into any issues. It’s been a smooth experience all around, it just works.

Fairing helps us understand where our customers actually came from and what led them to buy. It’s been super useful for filling in the gaps that standard attribution tools miss, and the insights have helped us adjust our ad strategy and messaging with way more confidence.

Fairing has been a great triangulation tool for to understand the efficacy of our marketing (across the many paid and organic initiatives we invest in). This tool has helped us make some incredibly powerful decisions. the visualizations and integrations are great.

Honestly, not much. Sometimes I wish there was an easier way to analyze the data without having to rely on data scientists. But I think the next phase of Fairing for us is getting the response data in our data warehouse

Incredibly easy to implement and delivers high-quality zero-party data almost instantly. The ability to ask customizable questions and segment responses by product, channel, or campaign helps understand the “why” behind conversions in a way attribution tools can’t. It’s become a core part of our brands marketing stack.

The UI could be more intuitive when navigating between different survey responses or creating complex question logic.

The response rates are higher than any other solution I have tried. The first party data we collect is so valuable and used across the business.

It would be nice to have some more built in reports, but I know that’s on the roadmap and the data is easy to export and manipulate.

I love that it’s so easy to understand the full context of what customers responses mean. 

There’s not only the survey response but a whole bunch of other data (discount code use, utm, and now LTV analytics, etc) that’s helpful in understanding more. 

This means that it’s easy to understand ambiguous data (which is common in survey responses) by cross referencing.

The ability to recategorise responses is another really useful feature.

I think their API could be a bit more robust — but it’s something most people won’t use so it’s alright.

Fairing is helping me understand the impact of influencer partnerships at the company I advise.

**What do you like best about Fairing?**

I'm the owner of a shopify store, and have been using fairing since around the time we launched. The platform is incredibly easy to use, and iterate on. It has helped us uncover incredibly valuable insights from our customers. 
We briefly tested other post-purchase tools, but they had a much lower completion rate

**What do you dislike about Fairing?**

I truly can't thing of a single thing! It's an incredibly valuable tool, for both open ended and MCQs. great support too!

Helping us understand how our customers learned about us, how they plan to use our products, what pain points they are trying to solve.

The cost-benefit of Fairing is insane. The opportunity to engage with customers in such an important time of their journey and learn key insights about their perspectives is gold. I look at them as a key piece of any marketing stack I set up.
