Needs work in that area. **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lots of development discoveries and identified many areas that needed improvement. It can be precisely tailored to meet the needs of various users within your organization and provides a granular level of detail about the activities taking place within an operation. If you're in the market for a WIP system, do the right thing and make sure you evaluate FactoryFour. You will NOT be disappointed. We've facilitated evaluation cycles with several customers looking to incorporate a WIP system with the barcoding and RFID technologies that we specialize in and they have all been impressed with the capabilities that FactoryFour offers **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** Nothing - FactoryFour meets or exceeds the needs of any company/organization looking to implement a Work-In-Process system. **Recommendations to others considering FactoryFour:** Be sure to take the time to sit through a personalized demo for your team so that you can see the FactoryFour platform in action and understand how it will fit your operation. **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** Several of our customers have selected FactoryFour to help them gain control of their unique manufacturing processes. FactoryFour has helped with tracking consumption of raw materials, quality controls/inspections, tracking materials and activity across very complex and varied assembly/manufacturing/shop floors, seamlessly integrated with existing ERP systems, and much more. It's very easy to customize the forms to intake work orders, and from there you can actually see a workflow that tells you the steps to production. If there is a process problem it will automatically tell the right people to address it. **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** The solution is very well rounded and there isn't anything in particular that I don't like. You need to make sure to dedicate resources from your team to make sure implementation goes smoothly, as you should for all process software. **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using FactoryFour to process work orders and manage the production process. Overall, we've seen increased efficiency in production, and a more enhanced customer experience. Customers are submitting orders with less errors, and have more flexibility in the options they have. We receive the orders right into production and can track all of our processes in real-time. ### 4. Every manufacturer needs good data to make the best decisions. They also give you the one insight that no manufacturer truly knows: the labor cost associated with making a product. With FactoryFour set up on your production floor, you can automatically gather data on all your processes. From this data you can build your own insights to understand labor cost, downtime, technician productivity, etc. **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** FactoryFour is a very focused product, making it a best-in-class for production execution and visibility. You will need other systems to manage your inventory, accounting, etc. however FactoryFour has an integration infrastructure that can integrate seamlessly into these other systems. **Recommendations to others considering FactoryFour:** If you’re a company with more than 15 operators on the floor, you should seriously be considering a system to start tracking production. FactoryFour is the most advanced and easy to use in my opinion. Tracking production will improve your business, increase your profit, and enhance your customer’s experience. **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** For me personally, it’s crucial to understand the cost of making a single product unit. FactoryFour gave me that insight and more. I’ve been able to optimize my production processes and make better business decisions that are backed by data. ### 5. We had invested a lot in SAP and it was handling our inventory and billing, however it was not flexible enough to handle our custom manufacturing processes. FactoryFour was very flexible, integrating with SAP instead of replacing it, and allowing us to manage every manufacturing process uniquely and the way we wanted. We used it to manage our manufacturing from beginning to end, pulling in order data from customers all the way to tracking the product during production and shipment. **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** Configuring some of the integrations and rules required working very closely with the FactoryFour team. While their team is very responsive and gets the job done, we wanted more admin tools to be able to configure some of the things ourselves. Over time we've seen them make more admin tools to make it more and more self-service. **Recommendations to others considering FactoryFour:** Many people feel "stuck" with the systems they already have in place and feel like they can't afford to improve their systems or try out new things. FactoryFour is made to integrate and improve your processes, not replace them. Don't be afraid to try! **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to take in custom order data from customers all over the world through our own application. We then took that order data and pushed it to production to manufacture each custom product. FactoryFour integrated with our application to pull the data and tracked each individual unique product through production to shipping so we knew exactly where a particular customer's order was. We reduced errors in production, greatly reduced lead time, and improved customer satisfaction. ### 6. It is as close to custom software as you could get without the price tag. FactoryFour team is continuously working to advance their software based on the feedback of their users. They are very responsive, and fast acting. They go above and beyond fto delight their customers. **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** Nothing comes to mind, because F4 is constantly improving and very open to feedback and requests. For instance, we needed a way to format labels and the FactoryFour team built in functionality into their software within a couple of weeks. **What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?** At Barcoding Inc we help customers become more efficient, accurate, and connected through supply chain automation and innovation solutions. I have yet to see a WIP software that balances both of these components and also presents the best options for reporting and actionable data aggregation. Whether traditional barcoding or RFID, FactoryFour is the most flexible solution for solving manufacturing issues. **What do you dislike about FactoryFour?** Thus far, FactoryFour has been a capable and winning partner for my requirements and my customers. Everyone seems impressed with the UI and the deliverables. It also integrates with virtually any device for data input. FactoryFour is a rapidly growing company, and while there product is good right now, we expect it will continue to improve in the future with new features and integrations.
