Flexibility - With over 18 years of experience evaluating/recommending/implementing software systems, FactoryFour is the most flexible and configurable Work-In-Process (WIP) platform I have seen. It can be precisely tailored to meet the needs of various users within your organization and provides a granular level of detail about the activities taking place within an operation. What do you like best about FactoryFour?

We use FactoryFour to intake and place work order into production and then manage the production process. It's very easy to customize the forms to intake work orders, and from there you can actually see a workflow that tells you the steps to production. The solution is very well rounded and there isn't anything in particular that I don't like. You need to make sure to dedicate resources from your team to make sure implementation goes smoothly, as you should for all process software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using FactoryFour to process work orders and manage the production process. Overall, we've seen increased efficiency in production, and a more enhanced customer experience. What do you like best about FactoryFour?

FactoryFour fills a major gap that all manufacturing businesses have: understanding the production floor in real-time. They also give you the one insight that no manufacturer truly knows: the labor cost associated with making a product. With FactoryFour set up on your production floor, you can automatically gather data on all your processes. FactoryFour is a very focused product, making it a best-in-class for production execution and visibility. You will need other systems to manage your inventory, accounting, etc. however FactoryFour has an integration infrastructure that can integrate seamlessly into these other systems. If you’re a company with more than 15 operators on the floor, you should seriously be considering a system to start tracking production. What do you like best about FactoryFour?

We were already using SAP to manage our business prior to bringing in FactoryFour. We had invested a lot in SAP and it was handling our inventory and billing, however it was not flexible enough to handle our custom manufacturing processes. FactoryFour was very flexible, integrating with SAP instead of replacing it, and allowing us to manage every manufacturing process uniquely and the way we wanted. We used it to manage our manufacturing from beginning to end, pulling in order data from customers all the way to tracking the product during production and shipment. What do you dislike about FactoryFour?

Configuring some of the integrations and rules required working very closely with the FactoryFour team. While their team is very responsive and gets the job done, we wanted more admin tools to be able to configure some of the things ourselves. What problems is FactoryFour solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to take in custom order data from customers all over the world through our own application. We then took that order data and pushed it to production to manufacture each custom product. FactoryFour integrated with our application to pull the data and tracked each individual unique product through production to shipping so we knew exactly where a particular customer's order was. It is as close to custom software as you could get without the price tag. FactoryFour team is continuously working to advance their software based on the feedback of their users. The two factors that set FactoryFour apart and create the most impactful value for my customers are its ability to handle custom workflows and its user-friendly, modern interface. I have yet to see a WIP software that balances both of these components and also presents the best options for reporting and actionable data aggregation. FactoryFour is a modern software that is built from the ground up to be intuitive to use and for humans to interact with. For work-in-process (WIP) tracking, it's the best thing you can get on the market right now. It's customizable and flexible, enabling you to manage multiple different WIP scenarios. There is nothing that I have seen yet to dislike.
