"Streamlining Efficiency with Autodesk Factory Design Utilities"

What do you like best about Factory Design Utilities?

This program, together with Revit and AutoCad, makes it easier for me to create 2D layouts for AutoCAD and, in the case of Revit, in 3D, at the same time, it allows me to easily view and review the designs. In the programming part I have not yet experienced it 100%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factory Design Utilities?

This program can be a bit complex when it comes to scheduling the installation of equipment if you do not have experience in the project management part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factory Design Utilities solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Factory Design software allows me to simulate and verify the design changes in the space where the equipment will be installed. This helps me make better decisions regarding the other equipment that makes up the spaces to be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impair the design process"

What do you like best about Factory Design Utilities?

The array of features and functionalities that Factory Design Utilities provides are somewhat limited. Its obstructive not allowing me to create 3D layouts and optimize workflow processes. Its less user friendly interface makes it not accessible for anyone to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factory Design Utilities?

Factory Design Utilities does provide some advantages like simulating design changes and simplifying the design process there are areas where it falls short. Compared to design tools in the market it lacks features and capabilities. The icing, on the cake, is its difficult collaboration capabilities with team members and integration with Autodesk software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factory Design Utilities solving and how is that benefiting you?

The user interface isnt as intuitive as one would hope, requiring a learning curve for users to effectively navigate and utilize it. There have been instances of sluggishness and occasional crashes in the software leading to delays at times and potentially causing work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Factory Design Utilities?

Factory Design Utilities provides a limited range of features, for designing and organizing a factory. Its not user friendly making it hectic to create 2D and 3D models. It lacks the ability to visualize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It fails to optimize workflows. Autodesks support and resources are hectic. There are some features provided by Factory Design Utilities there are areas that need improvement. The interface seems overwhelming for beginners making navigation and utilization of all functionalities quite difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factory Design Utilities solving and how is that benefiting you?

The software lacks customization options which restricts the ability to tailor designs according to needs. Dealing with updates and compatibility issues with CAD software is frustrating as it disrupts workflow continuity and necessitates additional troubleshooting.
