What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

The best thing about nginx is its open source. I also like how it integrates with other infrastructure tools. Organisation we use ngniks for load balancing and as a reverse proxy. And another best thing about enzy Nexus it uses low memory and high concurrency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

One thing I dislike about. Enjoy Nexus it bit slow to learn. There is very less support from the open source community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

I like the following things about F5 NGINX:

Performance and scalability: NGINX is known for its high performance and scalability. It can handle a large number of concurrent requests with minimal impact on performance.

Reliability: NGINX is a very reliable piece of software. It has been used in production environments for many years and has a proven track record of uptime.

Security: NGINX has a number of security features built-in, such as a firewall, content caching, and rate limiting. These features can help to protect your applications from attacks.

Ease of use: NGINX is relatively easy to use and configure. There are many tutorials and documentation available online.

Open source: NGINX is an open source project, which means that it is free to use and modify. This gives you a lot of flexibility in how you use it.

Overall, I think F5 NGINX is a great choice for load balancing, reverse proxying, and web serving. It is a reliable, secure, and scalable solution that is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

Here are some of the things I dislike about F5 NGINX:

* **The pricing can be expensive for small and mid-sized organizations.** The pricing for F5 NGINX Plus starts at $1,495 per year for a single node. This can be a barrier to entry for some organizations.

* **The user interface can be complex and difficult to learn.** The user interface for F5 NGINX Plus is not as user-friendly as some other load balancers. This can make it difficult to configure and manage for users who are not familiar with it.

* **The documentation can be sparse.** The documentation for F5 NGINX Plus can be sparse in some areas. This can make it difficult to find the information you need to get started or troubleshoot problems.

* **The community support can be limited.** The community support for F5 NGINX Plus is not as large or active as some other load balancers. This can make it difficult to find help if you are having problems.

Overall, I think F5 NGINX is a great load balancer, but it is not without its flaws. The pricing, user interface, documentation, and community support could all be improved. However, if you are looking for a high-performance, reliable, and secure load balancer, F5 NGINX is a great option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

F5 NGINX is the best-in-class software that is open source, and free to use. We have been using it for a long time for load-balancing and it has worked like a charm, less load, high concurrency at its best. We had the case to handle the load for 1M concurrent users while balancing the load among all the pods, this has been a good decision we took. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

There haven't been any demerits but if we could have Cloudflare features that help avoid scraping of website inbuilt into something like this, it would've been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

The tool is very fast and efficient, especially for companies that need to handle high volumes of data in their day-to-day operations. The software is easily configurable and allows to be highly scalable which greatly facilitates the tasks to be performed within it. Being an open source tool, it can be modified according to the needs of the companies that require it and it is also free, which makes it a very practical solution. What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

For Spanish-speaking users it is a little more complicated because the documentation in English is quite extensive, which can cause difficulty in users who are not native speakers of the language. It is a little known solution even in comparison with others like Apache, which makes it difficult to find help or technical support in many occasions. It does not have a sufficiently usable customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

Here's what's fascinating about F5 Nginx:

1. Fast and Reliable Loadbalancing - NGINX is known for its high performance and ability to handle many simultaneous connections with a low memory footprint. This is especially apparent when dealing with static content.

2. Scalability: NGINX is designed for scalability, making it an excellent choice for both small projects and large-scale, high-traffic applications.

3. Modules and extensions: The modular architecture allows users to extend its capabilities by adding modules, whether they're third-party or built by the community.

4. Built-in Caching: NGINX’s built-in HTTP cache delivers accelerated content to users, reducing the load on application servers and backend systems.

5. Security: Features such as rate limiting, connection limiting, and the ability to defend against certain types of DDoS attacks make NGINX a secure choice for many deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

Cost: NGINX Plus, the commercial version, comes at a cost. For organizations or individuals on a tight budget, this can be a deterrent, especially when the open-source version is freely available.

Documentation: While there's a significant amount of documentation available, some users feel that certain advanced topics or use cases aren't covered in depth.

F5 Transition Concerns: Post F5's acquisition of NGINX, there were concerns in the community about the future direction of the platform and how it might affect the open-source version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX?

F5 nginx is a game changer for me as a DevOps Engineer. It's fast and reliable, really easy to setup. I've never had to reach out to F5 for support since the community is big enough and answers most of the queries that I don't find in documentation. Definitely a must have fir web applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX?

License is a bit expensive. Smaller organisations might look for alternatives.

It lacks some built-in features like monitoring/logging/log analysis

Resource hungry but that depends on the use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
