What do you like best about ezCater?

What do you dislike about ezCater?

As great as the ezCater technology is, it’s still beholden to the last-mile logistics of its restaurant partners. In some cases, those partners aren’t consistent in how they deliver their service. Whether it’s a delayed delivery time or a drop in overall food quality, it can negatively impact customer satisfaction and, in turn, reflect poorly on our service and brand.

This could be improved with more real-time tracking for orders in progress, along with clearer customer updates when delays are expected. In a manufacturing environment where customers have specific, designated lunch times, knowing when the food will arrive is extremely important to help them make the most of their lunch period. What do you dislike about ezCater?

Delivery fees can be a bit expensive. I don't like when you have to wait for EZCATER to check with a restaurant for availability. Sometimes you don't get an answer right away. Also, I've experienced an instance when EZCater required a 2 or 3 working day notice for a certain restaurant but when I called the restaurant myself, they were able to accommadate our request. What do you like best about ezCater?

I like ezCater's ease of use, especially when ordering for 60+ people, which makes it simple and handy. It's also super convenient that I can check things on my phone with the app. It allows me to choose restaurants that deliver to the pool we are competing at all-in-one place. I can find the restaurant, customize things, and get the order placed without having to call a million different restaurants. It's helpful that I can send the link to our students and they can order what they would like. Switching from going directly through restaurants to using ezCater has made things a lot easier. What do you dislike about ezCater?

What do you like best about ezCater?

I enjoy that tax exemption is already included, along with delivery windows and the group ordering feature. I like the ability to select dietary preferences as well. ezCater makes it easy for each individual to put in a specific order, without our staff needing to collect that information themselves and send it off to the restaurant. It also indicates to us which restaurants are open to individual orders, which is important for how we order food. It takes the legwork out of scheduling delivery times and getting our tax exemption taken care of. The initial setup was very easy, especially since the university did it for us. What do you like best about ezCater?

ezCater makes my work so much easier. It's amazing to have a single portal where I can choose from hundreds of available restaurants, sort by cuisine type, and even start group orders for our office. ezCater is integrated with our internal systems, so our AP department pays them directly. What do you like best about ezCater?

I like that ezCater makes the process of creating tax-exempt orders really simple, which is great because it used to be quite a hassle having to call restaurants directly. With ezCater, I can confirm the tax exemption online, which is super convenient and something I appreciate about their service. It's a relief knowing that I can find something unique and tax-exempt at short notice, which wasn't always the case with other services. The initial setup of ezCater was simple too, rating a 3 out of 10 in difficulty, and I appreciate that it's an option without the pressure of being locked into one sole supplier. What do you dislike about ezCater?

I don't like that it's not easy to call a restaurant to change an ezOrder purchase. Also, sometimes there are menu items not on the ezCater menu that the restaurant offers, and it isn't simple to add these into the ezCater budget while keeping the order tax exempt and within budget. What do you like best about ezCater?

I like how ezCater makes it easy to bulk order meals, which saves us time and money. I appreciate that it's essentially food bulk ordering, similar to Uber Eats but on a larger scale. It's also great that we have a business account where I can manage and upload our sales tax-exempt forms. This feature means employees don't have to worry about managing the sales tax exemption and can just focus on placing the order. The initial setup was very easy as well. What do you like best about ezCater?

As an administrator of EzCater for our organization, I find the dashboard tools very helpful when it comes to managing the account. It allows me to easily add approved staff and delete them as well. What do you dislike about ezCater?

The reporting tools could be a little bit better. It's great for basic maintenance although things like adding/updating groups could be better. Right now, I have to manually toggle through a bunch of pages to get to something closer to the end of my groups. That they are usually incredibly on top of customer service. I have had numerous bad orders before because I handle a high volume of catering and I like EZCater because they work hard to make to right when things go wrong. Sometimes it feels like they lose a lot of restaurant's or have limited options. What do you like best about ezCater?

I really like that ezCater is hands off as an administrator. It recommends restaurants, collects reviews from employees, and applies the subsidy without needing any communication with drivers or restaurants. Everything just happens seamlessly. The interface is super simple and easy to use, letting employees place orders from a variety of vetted restaurants with deliveries by 12PM daily.
