There are a lot of integrations readily available and easy to implement. Inventory, patient management, billing/coding, and patient pretest data collection are my personal favorites. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** There are a lot of updates and changes to the software, but this is always for the better. This is clearly evident when using other EHR services that are seriously outdated. It can be somewhat difficult to keep up with, but Eyefinity does provide proper training for the updates. It is just a matter of taking the time to do them, not a fault of Eyefinity. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eyefinity EHR and PM systems help bring all aspects of the practice together. Having all of their information has been amazing! It has really helped our office a lot getting to know the patients information and has been amazing! We operate solely from the website to work up patient history, the pretesting, and even the ocular exam that the doctors perform. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** There is a lot of updates that sometimes fixes bugs and sometimes they don’t. A lot of the times when I am imputing information it will be there one minute and then when the doctor pulls it up on their iPad it will be gone. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are learning everyday the tricks in EHR and how beneficial it is with communicating between doctors using the intersystem mail option. Also, the task option is awesome! We can assign tasks to our different doctors very easily so that they can access it quickly. ### 7. There are some cool features like for example when I refer a patient out to a specialist i can fax them the visit notes thru the ehr system. Its also very easy to bring out prescription and edit prescriptions.With the ehr you can also e-prescribe to pharmacy. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** What i dislike about eyefinity ehr is that, you have to have a separate software in order to check the patient out and order glasses or contacts. It's very annoying sometimes to keep going back and forth on different systems when the patient is in front of you ready to check out or order supply. **Recommendations to others considering Eyefinity Encompass:** My recommendations to other about eyefinity ehr is that they look into it carefully on how it has to separate software that does different things and maybe look into seeing if they may have upgrading to a software were u only have to use one window for everything like for example, eye exam and also checking patients in and out and also checking them out for materials so you don't have to switch back and forth. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my business we used eyefinity ehr to complete eye exams. There is no real benefit to eyefinity ehr, all the doctors complain about it, how it's backwards to complete an eye exam, there's a lot of scrolling down and clicking, which makes the eye exam so much slower. The software also isn't great when it comes to diagnosis codes. ### 8. We are able to get authorization code in a very quick and respectful manners. We are able to search patients very quickly. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** I dislike that there are certain requirements to search a patient like the social security which many patients does not want to reveal. This is just a small issue, it is not something that would change how we feel about this program because it is very efficient to our needs. **Recommendations to others considering Eyefinity Encompass:** I really recommend this product because it is very efficient and we haven't run into any issues since we started this program. All I had to do is include their name and birthday in order to find the patients. It also give you the option to look by using their member identification number. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** Although I love this program, it is difficult to get the customers to trust us to be able give their social security number or they forget. Because the program has too many requirements it makes it hard to look for the patient with all the require information. **Recommendations to others considering Eyefinity Encompass:** I recommend this to other company that want to start off their medical clinic because this is easy to use without the need for much intruction. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was able to solve the patient that need to so their insurance and eligibility for the year. This benefit our company because this is the main program we use to search for insurance and to look for medical patients. ### 10. One selection leads you to lists of associated aspects of the selection. For example if you are starting an exam and you select red eye, the associated symptoms are generated not only for the tech to remember to ask about certain symptoms but also when the dr. Is diagnosing. The dr. Will select an impression and the plans and procedures are given that relate to that diagnosis. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** I dislike that you have to completely exit out of what you are doing to look at something else. So if you are on the chief complaint and you are doing an annual eye exam on someone who has had cataract surgery in the past five years and you want to see what year they had their cataract surgery on the clipboard or previous exam you have to finish the chief complaint first. Or if someone is using a certain medication you have to remember it when reviewing the clipboard if you want to document it with the chief complaint so the dr is aware the patient is taking it in more than one places. I also do not like how the wording in the summary is generated sometimes but it does give you the option to modify it if something doesn’t sound right. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched from paper charting to EHR charting with eyefinity. Communicating with referring practices has been very efficient as well as giving patients the opportunity to have a look at their ehr through a patient portal access provided by eyefinity. ### 11. You can easily print prescriptions off and send prescriptions electronically to the patient’s pharmacy. This was all contingent on the Doctor or scribe being thorough and consistent in their documentation or the tech would be ill prepared at said future appointment. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** There were many aspects that were not used friendly. Frequently, when wanting to leave a note pertaining to aspecific diagnosis, treatment or finding, it had to be done on a screen which was separate from the screen with all the other notes. It caused frequent disruption of flow and efficiency while the doctor, technician or front desk staff looked though the notes to find what they were looking for. Also, in this same regard, the need to exit from one screen to get to the next was very annoying. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was very good at tracking usage of certain diagnostic and treatment inventory and helped the practice to understand better what was used and in what sort of frequency. Furthermore, we could tell which doctors were using such inventory more frequently and helping overall revenue. ### 13. For me personally, the ability to use or omit certain tabs and customize each was my favorite aspect of this software. In addition, Eyefinity EHR is much more aesthetically pleasing than other EHR programs I have used in the past. **What do you dislike about Eyefinity Encompass?** The biggest con about this software was that it was very confusing to learn at first. This may have been due to my using a different program previously, but I needed much more training on the different quirks of the system than expected. However, it definitely got easier with time as I used the EHR system more and in different ways. **Recommendations to others considering Eyefinity Encompass:** This is a great program and tool for any health care professional! However, be sure to get a contact for a good service/troubleshooting specialist from the company so that any bumps in the road are easily overcome. **What problems is Eyefinity Encompass solving and how is that benefiting you?** This system allowed the practice I was in to go to completely paperless charting. Not only did this cut down on waste in the practice, but also improved efficiency and reliability of being able to locate notes. ### 15.
