What is Exterro E-Discovery?

The Exterro Orchestrated E-Discovery Suite enables customers to manage, measure, and optimize e-discovery processes, unifying all phases of e-discovery across the EDRM, and all stakeholders on the same technology platform. Exterro’s e-discovery platform integrates the following technology: Exterro Legal Hold enables users to scope, create, distribute, and track legal hold notifications and defensibly manage the entire process. Exterro E-Discovery Data Management enables users to collect, process, review and produce electronically stored information as required under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. It is the only product on the market that enables the identification of responsive data prior to collection. Exterro Project Management is the only purpose-built project management system designed specifically to orchestrate the workflows, tasks and activities associated with e-discovery and other legal and information governance processes. The tool I use the most is legal holds. I create the legal holds for our company and find this tool very helpful as it streamlines the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The problems we are solving is we are able to get legal hold out faster than before we had Exterro. Custodians are able to view all the information, we are able to edit holds quickly and resend holds which is all very beneficial! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The compliance portal has made it much easier to track custodian compliance and interview for additional data and custodians for the legal hold. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The quick start guide was not very helpful. Report options are not very flexible and often have a missing column that is not available to add which would make the report much more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Exterro E-Discovery?

I like that we are able to complete the discovery in one tool and on our own instead of having our IT Department complete it for us. I also like that we can review the emails to confirm they are relevant to what we are searching for. The tool also will save us money on attorneys fees due to sending less documents for them to review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Exterro E-Discovery?

the amount of time it takes to pull the information, the errors we are running into. Not many people to help when there is issues if the primary team member assigned to our account is on vacation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Matters. It help secure the group and it places all your custodians, ESI etc together. I just wish it tied together the productions too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Exterro E-Discovery?

Exterro makes it easy to monitor legal holds and do reviews of ESI. It is very intuitive to use in that regard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our pain came from our infrastructure when we were on prem. We had many problems with collecting and producing ESI. However, once we moved to the cloud, that became much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are able to track our legal hold responses with much more accuracy than before, and in addition we are able to bring more of our review process in house. We are saving money by doing that instead of sending it to outside counsel to review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
