What is Exterro E-Discovery?

The Exterro Orchestrated E-Discovery Suite enables customers to manage, measure, and optimize e-discovery processes, unifying all phases of e-discovery across the EDRM, and all stakeholders on the same technology platform. Exterro’s e-discovery platform integrates the following technology: Exterro Legal Hold enables users to scope, create, distribute, and track legal hold notifications and defensibly manage the entire process. Exterro E-Discovery Data Management enables users to collect, process, review and produce electronically stored information as required under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. It is the only product on the market that enables the identification of responsive data prior to collection. Exterro Project Management is the only purpose-built project management system designed specifically to orchestrate the workflows, tasks and activities associated with e-discovery and other legal and information governance processes. when running searches - having to recreate last search preferences as system does not keep prior preferences that I am aware of. Would like to see an improvement in setting preferences so users do not have to re-create search criteria. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Exterro E-Discovery?

The ease of using Legal Hold Pro and how it is interconnected with Passport. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Exterro E-Discovery?

The only thing I have to report is it took a long time for IT to service a problem we had with Legal Hold Pro and Passport back in September. We were told there were people ahead of our ticket and that we needed to wait. The waiting period took several weeks and somehow the problem resolved itself where our IT person was able to go ahead and manually fix the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to issue a hold using your standard templates and to manage ongoing compliance with the hold. We also use the tool for other legal compliance tasks where we need an audit trail of users acceptance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Exterro E-Discovery?

I love the way the product integrates with the Google Suite. Also, I have found that reviewers of ESI are able to review and label documents with minimal instruction from me, even if they have never used E-Discovery software before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a large learning curve for advanced users like me to get to the stage where they feel comfortable with the results of their searches and collections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
