The payment system was awful. If you allow people to make a deposit, there was not a great way to follow up about the second payment. There are some improvements that could be made to reporting. Right now, it's difficult to sort through task completion, as it shows every exhibitor, even if they don't have that specific task assigned to them. More filtering would make this easier to navigate. The email function could also be a little easier to utilize. It would also be nice to set up automated reminders to exhibitors who haven't completed tasks yet. I'm a brand new customer of ExpoGenie's. Launching a collaborative show with two other organizations with only 5 months to plan it start to finish meant high anxiety, lots of questions and lots of coordination. Derek was beyond patient with us. He was always right there to answer our questions and provide a great overview of the product so we could set our minds at ease that we were making the right decision. I also love that I can embed the interactive floor plan into my conference registration website and have it direct back to our exhibitor site through ExpoGenie.

I like that my exhibitors can access our live floor plan, select the booth they want, and register without my involvement in the process. This saves me tons of time. I also really appreciate that after we set up our portal for our 2020 event, we just had to make some updates for 2021. The customer service team is excellent to work with and very responsive when I need help. Our exhibitors have been very impressed with our portal - we are a small operation just learning the ropes of trade shows, but expo genie makes us look like pros! There are some features that I would like to see upgraded. For example, there is no mechanism to add a discount for multiple booth purchases (aside from a coupon code which is a percentage off the total amount, which doesn't work for our pricing model). I have worked around this by issuing invoices from my bookkeeping program. But some exhibitors have been confused when the expo genie cart total isn't discounted.
