Moving to DaaS from office-based desktops for corporate users and home-based desktops for contact center agents has enabled us to move to a full virtual office model and boost our compliance and security posture. Administration and support are much easier, resulting in higher productivity and uptime for the user base and lower support costs for I.T. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Resource management is more challenging with stricter limits on memory and disk space. Increased diligence is required to prevent Windows and its update processes from consuming all available disk space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

System works very well and has great customer support policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use and offers many features for your environment. Able to set it and "forget it". Great technical support. Overall a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Updates for new versions within the same release aren't auto pushed and have to be done manually, but the installs are easy so it really isn't that big of an inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is not much to not like as compared to other similar solutions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Evolve IP Desktop Services meets our real estate needs by providing a synchronized desktop management solution for our work computers and anyone who works from home and logs in remotely. The IT department is very customer oriented and delivers amazing desktop solutions for each of our employees while being able to maintain control through the cloud based program that VDI offers. It makes things much easier for IT because it is easier to manage and more economical which enables them to focus on more strategic activities for the business. The other thing that I like about the VDI is that the security levels are way better than working on a regular pc and there is a lower risk with spam and unwanted junk mail coming in from different servers. The cost for this is also way cheaper than trying to use desktops and integrating them into your own server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The connectivity issues that we sometimes experience can sometimes give a headache. When the VDI server is down we are unable to log into our work desktops and unfortunately we lose money when this happens. VDI would work better if they were able to manage their connectivity logs better and have a good connection all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The VDI environment on a college campus is super useful as you transition around different computer laps. I can stream and work on devices (virtual desktops) in remote locations. Having a cloud account also helps me be able to access my files remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You are limited on space and have to close out of existing projects prior to logging out. Once you log out of a virtual desktop nothing will remain from your session. You must rely on a cloud account to save your files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to control access from our server room to spawn new desktops quickly and efficiently for training purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about the software as it seems to be fairly intuitive and I've been trying to move our companies infrastructure forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
