*What is not right about eSUB is that if you have different devices and make changes to a project on a different device, the changes you make do not appear, and many times the reports are duplicated. This makes you waste a lot of time because it manipulates the work hours in each project.

Documentation of daily activities on each project with field notes and pictures is critical for everything! Having subcontractor software geared for our tasks has improved our industry. One platform for daily reports, field notes, RFI's, Submittals, PO's, CO's & reports for tracking productivity is why we have been impressed with this software. Trying to utilize all options in the field is sometimes a trying task with the older generation. The area is where all the information is generated and is critical to receiving the correct data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it utilizes the MS suite. For example, being able to download something into an excel spreadsheet. This helps a lot with meeting and being able to portray important information effectively with the ability to customize even. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I sometimes think about how it is a pain to click through too many sections or areas. For example, getting to company configuration is sometimes more work. If there was one central point for customization that you could apply to all employees even at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

eSUB is an essential tool for keeping projects organized. I mainly use eSUB for building out submittal packages. That particular feature makes my job a lot easier. I like how each product has its own line that allows for easier tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

eSUB provides everything our company is looking for in terms of acting as a tool for project organization. That being said, I have two minor issues. First, I find the interface to be unappealing. I think the website and app could use a redesign. Secondly, I feel there are too many clicks to get through each submittal line. I feel as if I should be able to easily type all of the items on one page and drag and drop PDF attachments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can edit my PO and submittals. There are multiple tabs where i can visit different areas of the project to keep track of progress and how the daily activities are going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is another site that i use ontop of multiple other sites. On esub, you are not able to upload drawings for projects and this can be very helpful for guys in the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most valuable tool is the "correspondence toolbox". ESUB was developed by a trade contractor and an attorney (married & probably talked enough to come up with this)

These are prefilled documents to, ahem, dave your ass if you are a specialty trade contractor and know the glamor of GC contract reading.

Delays, disruptions, + many more. Attach a photo to the field doc (from daily field note photos- our company requires 3 a day) and well, your are now dunking on a GC my friends.

The phone/tablet app and website could use some improvements. You can do some items on one but not on the other. When creating submittals/RFIs there should be a better template option to have everything already set so you do not have to do it again every time you create a new document. The time tracking and ability to import into QuickBooks for payroll has become critical to my business. I don't think I could go back to our old system at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

eSUB for the most part does what we need, though I do wish there were a few more HR type features built into the time tracking module such as better reporting for biweekly or monthly payroll periods rather than only being able to see weekly reports. Also sometimes the website seems slow and it takes longer than you would think for the page to load or refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use e-sub mostly to generate submittals and change orders and it helps us keep track for each project of what we have submitted and what we are still waiting on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the features that Esub has. It's very helpful to track change orders, PO's, etc. We also use the field notes and daily reports regularly. The field notes especially have helped us many times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My biggest dislike is that it's just slow. To get to anything it takes a while to load. I also wish there was a way to create PO's and adjust them a little faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
