What do you like best about Essential ERM?

An automated must-have tool for Risk & Compliance managers to obtain a clear view of their risks universe and mitigating controls (whether existing or proposed).

I found the Essential ERM interface intuitive and user friendly to navigate through. Risks were easy to set up and link with others, creating a principal risk, sub-risks, and a risk scenario hierarchy. There was no need to build complex procedures and coding.

I like the connection between objectives, risks, causes, consequences, mitigation strategies, mitigating actions, key risk indicators (KRIs), sub-risks, and more. This interconnected approach provides a comprehensive view of risk management, which is essential for ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, in this fast paced world that we now operate in. What do you dislike about Essential ERM?

Not being able to upload documents to support risk or control reviews. A dedicated area for outstanding action items from all reviews for a company or a portfolio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Essential ERM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a "one stop" software that helps us to track the "essential" components of our ERM program, while maintaining a simple and easy to use platform.

Essential ERM from Tracker networks did that while staying under our budget. The development team is also very responsive and will assist with solving problems once it is verified as a true need.

The visualization of the risk through the bow-tie gives a nice overview of where we are while the heat map tells us quickly where we want to be. The KRI Monitoring really shows graphically where we are out of line and what to adjust to get back in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We also appreciate your feedback on document uploads and tracking outstanding action items. Within Essential ERM, you can already link to supporting documents. In addition, the ability to upload and manage documents directly was recently introduced through our Essential Compliance module, which connects seamlessly with Essential ERM.

What do you like best about Essential ERM?

A must-have tool for risk managers to obtain a clear view of their risks.

I found their interface intuitive to navigate through. Risks were easy to set up and link with others, creating a principal risk and risk scenario hierarchy. There was no need to build complex procedures and coding.

On rare occasions I was stuck, their support team was prompt in solving the issue.

What do you dislike about Essential ERM?

What do you like best about Essential ERM?

We have been using the Essential ERM program for about a year now, and I can confidently say it’s a really good tool for risk management. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for both beginners and seasoned professionals to navigate, while the wide range of functionalities makes it a powerful asset in managing risks.

One of the standout features is its ability to create strong connections between various risk-related objects such as risks, causes, consequences, mitigation strategies, actions, key risk indicators (KRIs), subrisks, and more. This interconnected approach provides a comprehensive view of risk management, which is essential for ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

The implementation process was very quick and easy, almost like setting up a subscription. It required minimal effort to get started, which allowed us to begin using the system right away.

I also want to highlight the outstanding support team behind Essential ERM. They respond quickly, offer effective solutions, and provide useful advice. Their proactive and efficient problem-solving has made our experience even more seamless.

What do you dislike about Essential ERM?

One area where Essential ERM could improve is in the availability of dashboards for action plans. While the system does allow for monitoring of action plans, there currently isn’t a dedicated dashboard specifically for this purpose. Having a separate, easily accessible dashboard focused solely on tracking and visualizing the progress of action plans would enhance the user experience and make it easier to stay on top of mitigation efforts. Firstly, the product provides great customer service and a comprehensive knowledge base. This was crucial for us because, during the setup stage, especially since it was the first time for our organization, we lacked experience using the platform. The company offers various training sessions, guidance, personal support, and excellent in-system support for any questions. Additionally, the program is easy to use; we easily engaged our leaders and used the voting option online during our meetings. The product is well-designed to bring all the pieces together and monitor the progress of risk mitigation.

Essential ERM addresses several critical issues. The system effectively tracks and manages incidents, linking them to risks, controls, and action plans, which enhances our organizational response and mitigation strategies. What do you like best about Essential ERM?

Essential ERM provides a single view of the risks in real time and links to risk appetite and strategies. The indicators are easy to track and monitor. The workflows and other functionalities improve decision making and collaboration. It can be implemented in a very short time (2-6 weeks) even without IT implementation experience and their team is prompt and responsive. Its a must have as risk assessments should be dynamic and risk data are quickly changing.
