## Esper Reviews
  ### 1. Straightforward device management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Owner, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Once I had figured out how to create a blueprint for my devices, it was a straightforward matter to then provision them. The first device was the hardest, and then the remaining 5 were really easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Some more documentation, and perhaps some examples would be helpful. I don't use Android devices very often, and it seems that each one is slightly different so it wasn't easy to figure out how to apply the required settings for this particular device.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We write mobile apps that integrate with our desktop software system, and then deploy these across our client's organisation. Esper helps us to consistently configure all the devices. That way, we can guarantee what's installed on the device so we can provide the support when required. We are expecting a system-wide upgrade soon, and once all devices have been provisioned we believe that this will be a very easy operation to perform.

  ### 2. Esper provides an intuitive MDM management solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Intuitive console to manage Android devices at an affordable cost. We completed the rollout of devices for our employees to use within a week, keeping the project on time and within budget.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

We use this product to control a specific device application set for our service staff. We can give our team the flexibility needed to operate their system while providing the required controls to monitor applications and pinpoint the location of the devices when needed.

the ease of changing app versions on various devices, the screen share options

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

when devices are offline and miss updates, it would be better if we could automatically update them when they get back online

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we used to have to manually download new versions on devices (via a slack link/download). it was time consuming and difficult to manage devices across our warehouses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago L. | Customer Service Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Some of the things I like most about Esper is that it not only gets you connected to the tablet screen but also tells you a wide variety of details about the tablet to diagnose correctly.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

One thing I dislike about Esper is when we connect to the tablet remotely, there is a time limit. I imagine there must be a reason why that feature exists, but it does make it cumbersome.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our line of business, we must ensure many tablets' proper operation and maintenance by connecting to their screens and diagnosing. Esper allows us to do so quickly and efficiently.

**Official Response from Ananya Patra:**

> Hello Santiago,

We are thrilled to learn how Esper helps your business operate efficiently. Your valuable feedback is much appreciated, as it allows us to continuously improve our products and services. Rest assured, we have shared your concerns with our dedicated product team, who will use them to guide our future developments and product improvements.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

The shutdown time during remote sessions and renaming IDs in devices

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checking that our clients are always active when it comes to performing their tasks and making sure that they are taught well on how to manage their devices by remotely accessing them

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Support wasn't the most helpful when I reached out once

  ### 10. Great Management Tool For Our Android Devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip M. | I.T Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

What surprised me about Esper was the ease of use and deployment to our devices bundled with the amount of features that it offers. It is a complete package that allows me to take control of the devices within our company to remote manage without the need to have the device in my hands.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

The only real issue I have found is that sometimes our devices are online but the portal shows that they're offline, but that is not a big deal or a game changer as to how this tool performs.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complete control over how the staff in the company use the devices making sure that they can only access workplace approved apps. Also being able to remote manage and add apps and updates remotely is great

  ### 11. A fast, easy tool for provisioning Android devices -- lots of features and free up to 100 devices

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

The best thing about Esper by far was how easy it was to begin using. In under 2 hours I had found Esper, signed up, read the docs, had our first templates made and devices provisioned. We've done some tweaking since, but at it's core what we started with on day one is still working great. Quick signup/setup, and free for up to 100 devices? Yes please!

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

At present so far as I can tell it is available to manage Android devices only. We also have iOS devices in the company that I would like to manage in the same place, and even some Windows-based PCs, which I would love to provision and lock down. The addition of cross-platform functionality is the biggest thing missing from Esper.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Esper, we had to manually configure each android tablet, add a 'dummy' gmail account to download critical apps from the play store, rearrange the home screen, and approve all updates. Each tablet took around 30 minutes of focused effort and about 1.5 hours total to setup. With Esper, the initial setup work takes under 5 minutes, the tablets can be left to configure and update themselves, and once finished take another 5 minutes of final clean-up before they're ready to hand out. This has saved us DAYS of work time, and improved both safety and reliability.

  ### 12. It works perfect for me to manage the devices I have

**What do you like best about Esper?**

How you don't need to have a lower internet connection to access on the variety of the devices I use during my work day

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

How less time you can have access to a tablet

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote control to help people who don't have experience on devices or technological things

**Official Response from Ananya Patra:**

> Hello Alexander,

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Remove viewing makes it easy to control our machine that has an Android tablet attached to it

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Sometimes it looks like random actions show up on the activity log of the devices, such as the pinned app going in the background

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us monitor our machines and control them remotely if needed

**Official Response from Ananya Patra:**

> Hello There,

We are thrilled to learn that Esper makes it easier to manage your devices. Your valuable feedback is much appreciated, as it allows us to continuously improve our products and services. ### 17. Esper is great to manage your fleet of device

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Ability to deploy and update your own app on multiple devices; ability to put device in kiosk mode.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Sometime not 100% intuitive. But they improve frequently.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Controlling a ton of devices in a quick way

  ### 18. A Fantastic Tool for Device Management!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh K. | Operations Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I like the ease of use. Provisioning devices, adding internal APK's, play store apps, etc. is super simple.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

The window views aren't always the best. When running a pipeline or viewing devices, the UI is inside of the page in it's own window so navigating across isn't always easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Don't hesitate to reach out to support! I only had one issues when setting up but support took care of my question right away.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Esper has allowed my dispatchers to view a teammate's phone when they are running into issues. It's also allowed us to have better battery time by only installing apps we need and not all the other junk!

  ### 19. Esper steals the show with management capabilities and ease of use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaiah E. | Senior Application Support Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Ease of use, able to quickly setup and provision any number of units in miniumal time. Continued support and all the features which are comparable to other MDM's and Esper tends to do it better.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Some provisioning template items would be better managed if they were able to be changed mid-stream, rather than having to unprovision and re-provision.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that device security and compliance is in place.

  ### 20. Very Good MDM Platform to Use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep P. | Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

KIOSK Mode is the best thing. Also in KIOSK mode, they are providing the compliance policy i believe that is the best things platform is providing which give us a good control.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

In Multi-Application mode they should provide control over the profile creation with my best knowledge i didnt find that anywhere other wise user can create a new profile on phone and access things.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KIOSK mode which we are looking for our product.

  ### 21. Very easy MDM platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I love the onboarding process and the kiosk lockdown on devices

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Blueprints need more options, for example, the API can stop and allow devices to be shut down, but the blueprints can't.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to sideload and manage our own applications easier than the app stores.
It also allows us to lockdown the devices to just our applications.

  ### 22. Esper is easy to use and cost effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aravindraj S. | Network Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

UI is very easy to understand. Device onboarding and Blueprint creation are very simple compared to other MDM.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

They only focused on Android. If they support cross-platform like Mac OS, IOS, and Windows, then it's easy to maintain the enterprise device at a single point.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to allow app-based location permission settings for users. But it's Gray out and it will take the blueprint settings by default.

  ### 23. Esper is the Best

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheasel C. | System Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper is very user-friendly and easy to access
The creation of Policies and settings are good
Also, the ways how to enroll the device are very easy
There is also the Remote Control where you can remote the device wherever you go

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I think the only thing that I dislike is the hidden exit button of kiosk mode, It is hard to show after tapping many times, especially for those who have fat fingers. It takes a long time till the button shows.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

I try the other MDM but I believe Esper is the best among them. The Ease of setup and access is 5 star for me

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick setup and enrollment of the device
Group and Policies of all devices
Easy to pinpoint which is devices because of renaming each of them
And can do the remote viewing and control

  ### 24. Overall great experience.

**Reviewed by:** Tristan P. | IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

The setup process for devices was very straightforward and self explanatory. I believe anyone that has basic computer knowledge could do it.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I've had a couple small hiccups with the system not connecting to devices that are online.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing many android based devices remotly.

  ### 25. New Esper user.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

That you have to go back to the Home Screen to get back into the tab you are using.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up and managing devices. Remote access to the device.

**Official Response from Ananya Patra:**

> Hello There,

  ### 26. Reliable and user-friendly management software for Android devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I enjoy how easy it is to use and that it is free for up to 100 devices. It was cost-prohibitive in the past to have a software management system for our company's devices, but this has saved us time and money.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

ESPER is excellent however, sometimes the remote login doesn't always work great for us. It is not the main feature we use, but it would be nice if it connected better.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

If you are looking for a cost-effective method to manage multiple devices, this is for you.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Esper is solving device management and monitoring. We have business devices that are only intended for business use and Esper has allowed us to set them up and ensure they are being used how they were intended, and working when our employees need it.

  ### 27. Fast, Easy, Feature Packed MDM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | CEO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I was recently looking for a MDM service for my small business when I came upon Esper. It being free for the first 100 devices really pulled me in. The interface is simple to use and very feature rich. The simple How-To instructions and great support community helped me solve issues I ran in to doing this for the first time. The MDM software is very good, it features scheduled updates, factory reset prevention as well as locking the device to a Google account, it automatically installed my approved managed play store apps, and it is very quick to deploy policies as well as remotely view, lock, or find a device easily.

I appreciated the fact that they gave me a call a bit after I signed up as well as sent a email incase I needed help and for them to help me get the most out of the product. The friendly staff and the amazing software is why I'm proud to be using Esper.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

There aren't really any downsides except that when I first deployed it on a device my device got stuck installing apps but after a reboot it worked just fine. Also the home button randomly disappeared on initial setup but it was fixed when I rebooted the first time. Might be a bug with the device or just maybe a software bug. Other than that the service is amazing 👏

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having a MDM service would have negatively impacted us. Finding this amazing service provided us with the tools we need to manage devices and install applications all at once without facing halts to work.

  ### 28. Review of Esper when used with Android Phones

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhruv J. | Manager IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper enables a user to centrally manage pre-configured Android devices. Apps, Security and Basic setup of the devices are some of the basic features that are offered by Esper.io. What the user can and cannot access can be easily configured by the Cloud Dashboard. I am slowly going to provision more devices onto Esper and then be able to truly enjoy the Central MDM features offered.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Esper being a comprehensive MDM does require some technical knowledge to get the app set up and working properly. The USB Cable method sometimes misfires as the PC refuses to detect the phones. The cloud/Wifi methods work but slowly since a lot of data is required to be transmitted/downloaded. There should be some offline options as well where a user should be allowed to copy the bulk data/files to a MemCard and have esper pick up the required installations files from there rather than depending on the internet for the same.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile Device Management
Device Security
Device Usage Restrictions
Keeping everything up to date
Maintaining an active inventory
Follow the usage of the devices and keeping an eye of offline/disconnected devices

  ### 29. The best of free MDM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksei V. | it manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Most of all, I liked the free maintenance of up to 99 devices, which other MDM systems do not have. A simple interface that is quick and convenient to understand. Frequent updates from developers who are constantly improving the functionality and adding new features. Quick technical support, which solved the questions that I had at the initial stage.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Esper replaces the system launcher, and the buttons on the navigation bar periodically disappear, although the use system launcher option is specified in the settings. I noticed this problem on Samsung devices. This happens rarely, it helps to restart the device or install another launcher. In all other scenarios, this MDM solution works perfectly and without problems.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Definitely worth a try.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick setup of 50 Android tablets.
Remote device management.
Policies for different employees, application differentiation.
Convenient geotreking.
The ability to use the Esper API Support Tool.

  ### 30. I am using Esper to teach my students about MDMs and how to manage mobile devices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Robust, easy to use, and at a great price ! I am using Esper to teach my students about MDMs and how to manage mobile devices. Esper is great, so flexible and great for education because of the price point. 10 out of 10, would recommend to anyone.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Had a bit of trouble trying to enroll an older device. Got it figured out.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to give students hands-on training with a powerful MDM!

Several provisioning ways, even with Linux desktops. Dashboard and application deployment work very well.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Sometimes documentation or wording is a bit confusing, but once you are used to it, it's a seamless experience.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Esper helps us to manage event ticket scanners running Android. We can now support end-user efficiently and seamlessly update applications on the devices.

Today Mobile devices are playing a key role in quick decision-making. the amount of transaction happening through mobile devices are very very high & growing. everyone wants mobility & WFH culture in pandemic and post-pandemic has also increased.

every good has bad as shadow hence mobile devices sometimes become vulnerable & leads to business loss.
reason are many but crucks are safeguarding mobile devices from hacking and misuse along with enterprise security were highly needed.

Easper is one such full-stack DevOps platform & is capable of providing end-to-end management of devices. Its stable, scalable and flexible infrastructure along with the robustness of managing devices like locking, over the air updation , remote management & deployment mechanism put this ahead of other MDM.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

What i dislike is hard to say as most of the features are nice.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

safeguarding mobile devices from hacking and misuse along with enterprise security.

  ### 33. Helpful in controlling activities of team

Online enabling and disabling of apps, online deployment of app installation.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Takes a very long time to set up a device.

Team members use to install unnecessary apps and games and spend time on those. After using esper, my staff is more productive.

  ### 34. Esper.io Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paras M. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper is a well-planned platform. It was extremely easy to jump-start and use it. Moreover, it met all our requirements which even we were unable to foresee. We looked nowhere else after seeing esper.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

There is nothing that we can dislike. The only feature we miss is: "Double-tap on devices to wake the device". Just now, we always need to use the power button to wake it. Android has a built-in feature of gestures to use Double-tap to wake the device. Probably Esper may also have it, but we could not locate it.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Esper to control our Patient-Education-Tablets in our hospital. (We are an Eye-Care Hospital). As the tablets are in the hands of patients, we need to control their usage/misusages. After enrolling in Esper, we are worry-free about the safety of our devices.

  ### 35. VERY GREAT JOB

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar K. | IoT Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Everything is just Perfect,
Starting from how devices are managed,
Reaching to how apps are deployed on devices

We use the KIOSK mode, Apps deployment, WiFi AP management and almost all other features

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

It is not about disliking; it is about improvements,
adding a feature to update android os/security update from the console
more commands to be executed on the devices,
such as:
- lock/unlock screen
- launch a specific app without the help of kiosk mode

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

It is just the perfect solution

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm managing 11 tablets using esper.
devices enrollment, apps installation, configuring device settings, and ESPER APIs to automatically upload our application to ESPER apps

  ### 36. ESPER easy to use, deploy, and integrates with DevOps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John L. | Strategic Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper provides a clean, intuitive management platform built specifically for Android devices. Esper is not just a legacy MDM platform but more on the DevOps side. with the ability to use the pipelines function to deploy updates to the Android applications and devices. Maintaining security is about maintaining control of your assets. Esper provides the controls necessary to secure and manage the Android tablets we have deployed to the manufacturing floor.

As a service provider, we value Esper's ability to manage everything at the device level or group level (department/customer) and stagger updates to ensure that devices don't go down during critical hours, remote debugging, and hardware validation.

The Lenovo tablets we use come with a customized Android OS for Enterprise devices. The customized OS delivers improved performance, faster deployment, and superior debugging.

The Esper platform is easy to use, you don't have to be an engineer to use Esper which saves time, and provides superior support to our customers.

Documentation is solid, with a number of well-written blog articles also available, I've been able to find the approach to use to address our needs so far.

I also liked the free trial for the first 100 devices which, as a startup, was key to proving the solution would work for us before we pay.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

So far, so good, I really haven't found anything I'm displeased with.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Give it a try, there is a free trial and they will even shepherd you through the onboarding process.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Esper secures customer devices and presents/allows access to only specifically white labeled URL's. For us, that limits the browser to only our set of applications.

  ### 37. Esper is hidden gem in the MDM world.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tylon M. | IT Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper considers the little companies. The mdm solution they provide offers a lot of rich features to users who have less the 100 devices, for free. Even so the pricing is far more affordable than many counterparts on the market.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

There isn't much to complain about, esper provides enough for my needs.

There are sometimes error's when using the provisioning tool to provision new devices which require's me to factory reset and retry with that device. However the Esper team is constantly improving and updating Esper, I'm sure in time their platform will continue to improve into an even better MDM solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Give it a try. It's free up to 100 devices! So far, they are the only MDM solution that I can find that offers such. It's a great system.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to lockdown mobile the devices we use within our ops environments, it prevents staff from tampering with the devices. It also allows us to update our company app remotely on all devices at once.

  ### 38. Fast and Reliable with bunch of useful features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

It's very easy to use, in comparison with other MDM solutions. Esper impresses me by having the capability of bringing up the system and registering devices in 1 hour.
Being free for the first 100 devices is also a very good offer for SMBs to try and continue with Esper.
UI/UX is very nice and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Sometimes I couldn't access the system, but it seems to recover very fast.
One of my devices is not able to be managed intermittently. I understand that it's due to a network glitch or firewall-related, but I couldn't find a detailed report/log to debug the issue.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Esper to manage Android devices in our hospitality and security service. Application remote update and Kiosk Mode brings the most benefits to us.
There are also other MDM solutions, self-manage or cloud-base, opensource or paid service, ... but Esper is on top choice for our needs.

  ### 39. Simple, Straight Forward and Easy but then so much more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

The solution was very simple to set up and deploy, but once running we found it could do more, resulting in us extending both our use of the solution and also its adoption within the business.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

So far almost nothing but surprised some software needed APK packs versus getting them from App Store

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a large hotel that has a lot of staff using mobile devices for work so we needed to be able to manage both the deployment and security of the devices but also to easily support the numerous applications and user models

  ### 40. Best Android management / kiosk application available, with brilliant support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Been using Esper for nearly a year now; upon setting up our account, Esper has contacted us via email and arranged a phone call to assist us with setting up the Esper management app for the first time on 1 of our devices! Simple and easy to set up and manage.

We run a small fleet of devices across the country, easily managed on the same dashboard, with easy remote and remote controlling available.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

In our time using Esper and what we use it for, it was perfect. Perhaps something missing is a silent printing function when using Esper kiosk mode. We utilize Brother printers on our Android devices

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

If you need to manage a fleet of devices, Esper is the way to go, with a free account for your first 100 devices. No need to look any further!

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our fleet of devices across the country, it is sometimes impossible to go to the site. If there are any problems experienced with our devices, then with Esper, I can remotely view and control these devices to quickly and efficiently fix the issues.

  ### 41. Next generation of MDM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hussein S. | Technical Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

ESPER has enabled me the IT Support to provide instantaneous troubleshooting to all our devices and upload organizational apps with ease

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

No ability to directly connect to the filing system of individual devices to send files, suggesting this feature to be added in future updates to assist with remote file management

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

ESPER is beginner-friendly, user-friendly, and has enough advanced features to get your fleet secured, on track, and in sync with your organizational demands

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Ability to troubleshoot remotely without any user intervention
- Ability to track and lock devices with ease
- Monitoring device performances on the go (Battery, Signal Strength of various locations)
- Improved productivity

  ### 42. Esper a trusted MDM Application for taking the devices to the company owned devices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dheeraj P. | Application Programmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I mostly liked the Kiosk Mode of an application. The application has many excellent features like MDM controlling, Device policy Management, and the most fantastic quality I picked for my users is the App installation controlling. Overall, I loved all the application features provided, and in the future, I would love to explore the Pipeline with the application with an API.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I would not say dislike, but the remote session time should increase from 15 mins to almost 30 mins. Many times I need to reconnect the remote again after 15 mins. This can me improve as an frature.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you are looking for an MDM Application got your Organisation, Esper is the Best Place to have your trust. I mostly liked the Kiosk Mode of an application. The application has many excellent features like MDM controlling, Device policy Management, and the most fantastic quality I picked for my users is the App installation controlling. Overall, I loved all the application features provided, and in the future, I would love to explore the Pipeline with the application with an API. there are many problems which got resolved with the Esper application. I would love to mention it one by one. 1) Able to set up the Company owned device for all our tablets. 2) Apps management got easier. 3) GeoLocation of the Tab can easily be tracked. As per my experience I can surely say that the overall features of Esper are awful. In future Im looking for the CI/CD pipeline with esper application for controlling the data and the devices in an efficient way. Not only for an office purpose but it can help in parental contol as well. I would like to appreciate all the teams who are working behind and the front to make the application user friendly and efficient. This has helped me and my organization in many ways. Compare the performance of the different services you offer by generating a multilayer, multiservice approach:

Create your own fully customizable dashboards that offer unlimited filtering options.
Generate separate views based on your organizational needs e.g. different brands, departments, services, or countries, etc.
Compare all these separate views under one umbrella.

In the end, I would recommend you to use the application for you and your organization to make the process seamless. Thanks Team for your support.

Regards and Thanks,

  ### 43. Perfect solution for my needs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob H. | IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I wanted my tablets to be locked down easily and this did just that

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

It appears I need to use json files to manage block lists on chrome. I need to learn that better but it will be perfect

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Don't setup tablet beforehand as the 6 tap connection method needs to be done at first start screen

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to lock a tablet to one app or apps that I allow and not allow people to access anything else

  ### 44. User Friendly but fully functional!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hatty B. | IT manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Esper allowed me to enroll and manage multiple occasional use devices easily. I watched a brief tutorial and was able to get my instance up and running almost exactly as I wanted on the first try. It lets me auto-install apps, control the store, manage when updates are applied, and enable kiosk mode!

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I wish you could rename a device from the list view as well as the grid view.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

Sign up for a trial and give it a whirl; I'm sure you'll find it's suitable for all your needs.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass commission identical devices - apps, settings, and backgrounds - and lock to a specific app. The Esper settings app provided a convenient way to access and (limit access) to device-wide settings. Esper simplified a daunting project and has made management a breeze.

  ### 45. Esper is making my life MUCH easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric L. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

The system is very easy to setup on the back end and even easier to enroll devices. I've had very consistent results as I enroll devices. The dashboard view is great for giving me a quick at-a-glace status update and the ability to remotely see the screen of the mobile devices is a tremendous help when supporting over-the-road truck drivers.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I haven't found anything I dislike. If I had to pick something negative, there were a few questions I had a tough time finding answers to in the documentation. But I received good answers upon opening a ticket with the support team.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Esper to simplify the management and monitoring of tablets that are placed in trucks that travel all over the United States. Being able to set them up using a single login and see their status in one location is invaluable to me.

  ### 46. Simple and quick Device Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Administration is easy to set up and quick to configure.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

Admin management on the device is cumbersome if not non-existent.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way to manage android tablets. Allows control of installing apps and limiting non business use.

  ### 47. Finally found Esper!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | IT Project & Special Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Esper?**

I appreciate the ease and time saving of the provisioning templates and that with a few touches on the tablet, it provisions itself.

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

While I have not found any downside to use Esper, I have found one feature that I wish they would improve on, and that's the messaging. While it is a little clunky to use, you are still able to send messages to tablets with it.

**Recommendations to others considering Esper:**

If you are looking at Esper for MDM, some things to keep in mind:
*Understand what applications your device users will need and what you (as the company) will require.
*Be prepared for change management.
*Understand that different devices may behave differently during the Esper setup.
*Have a good understanding of the different provisioning methods. Each is a little different in how the provisions are accomplished and different devices may require a different provisioning method.

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the provisioning templates, I am able to define what apps should be installed on a device. When the provisioning is complete, those are the only apps that are installed. Prior to using Esper, we were not using any MDM and each tablet was setup differently (no real consistency).

Having the same setup installed on each tablet has reduced the number of problems that we've experienced and increased their ease of use.

  ### 48. Basicaly working fine withough any support need end support for configuration of device templet.

to makeing templet and allowing google application with some restriction

  ### 49. It good to use but you need to check if there is a option to lock the Kiosk mode

  ### 50. Excellet Android management solution for small business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan H. | Registered Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Esper?**

Free for less than 100 devices

User interface that is easy to navigate and learn

Branding option for home and lock screen

App management including built-in apps

**What do you dislike about Esper?**

I would like the option to hide the Esper notification.

I would like to be able to set device passcodes rather than just require them

**What problems is Esper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

App and app store restictions are the biggest benefit forbmy company

Choosing which device settings can be accessed and requiring passcodes is also very helpful amd adds a good layer of device security.
