Recommendations to others considering eSpark:
eSpark is a great way to get young students listening, speaking, reading and writing. Once your students know the procedures to follow when completing a quest, they can usually complete a quest in eSpark independently. You will love watching your students' videos to hear them explain what they learned durubg their quest. My students have benefited from eSpark! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an additional independent learning station in my classroom. When students complete classroom assignments in class and have at least 10 minutes of time, they can go to eSpark independently and complete an activity in their learning quest. When students do not pass a skill, eSpark sends me an email to let me know the skill that a student is struggling with at that time. In that email they also provide some resources to use to work with that student to help them better understand the skill. To make sure I remember to score student videos each week, eSpark sends me an email reminder that easily links to each student that has a video to score. The dashboard provides data for parents at conferences to share so they know which skills have been mastered and which skills were more challenging for their child.
