ESET monitoring part is strong and from the platform I can easily see whats happning across all our machines. The logs and alerts work smoothly and access is straightforward, which makes routine work much easier. It runs fastest and doesn’t slow down our development tools. There have been times when I wasn’t sure whether a task had actually finsihed. We use it across a mix of on prem servers and cloud VMs and its been very consistent. Remote deployment through Active Directory has saves us a lot of setup time, especially when rolling it out broadly. I also like the policy management. You define a policy once and it applies everywhere without extra effort. It integrates well with SIEM tools too, so alerts can be forwarded without having to build anything custom. ESET PROTECT reporting feels fairly basic when I’m trying to present security insights to leadership. I often end up exporting the data and then reworking it manually to make it usable. I love this platform for its set of security eco system it provides that works across various Operating system like windows, IOS, Android systems etc. Its ability to cover devices regardless of OS is simply awesome. The capacity to integrate with major marketplace like Microsoft Azure, AWS , Google Cloud Platform and many more makes this platform more robust and powerful. I also love the user friendly interface it provides making management of devices more comfortable with its dashboard. Other than this its active detections also makes the platform more secure for the device files as well as browsing. This platform have high reliablity with assured protection in multiple front of exposure to threat such as email or web browsing. The other best part I love about this platform is the report it provides providing more information on necessary actions that can be taken to enhance the security of the organization. We also use its integrations with identify tools and SIEM systems, which makes it easier to correlate alerts. A big part of my role involves sharing files and accessing documents from different sources, so its reassuring to use sonething that automatically scans everything as I work. The product can detect malicious activity on its own, and I also value the option to dig deeper when I need to analyze endpoints in more details. What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT? With ESET the warings aren’t very clear. I’ll receive a notified that something was blocked, but its not always obvios what triggered it or why it was flagged. I usually have to follow up with IT to understand what happened and what I should do next. ESET PROTECT threat detection is solid. It picks up unusual behavior, not just know malware, which is something I really value. The ESET Protect portal also makes it easy for us to drill down into details on protected systems and confirm wheather anything looks off. The dashboard gives a clear, complete view of our devices and pushing updates or applying policies remotely is straightforward. Its not entirely plug and play if you plan to use the more advanced features. You really do need to spend some time tuning yhe policies, otherwise youcan end up with extra alerts or blocks that aren’t necessary. It also looks for unusally patterns, including ones it isn’t already familiar with, so they can be flagged and analyzed. ESET PROTECT is a complex risk assessment and cybersecurity solution. The information it provides has helped improve our security and phishing awarness, and it offers protection against email threats . What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT? I’m able to protect CRM & customer support tools from malware attacks and phishing. The system process management works well, but the reporting features is slow and I often run into issues with it. Aside from that, I don’t really have any dislikes. From a Scrum Master perspective I appreciate how quietly it does its job in the background we manage multiple dev machines and the centralized console makes it easy for me to check device status threats and updates all in one place with real time protection, patch management, and policy controls feel practical and well managed rather than overcomplicated. At times alert description feel a bit high level I usually need my security lead to double check details before acting and cyber threats and ransomware has been the greatest aspect of ESET Protect. ESET PROTECT has worked very well for us, especially for endpoint security. Overall, it’s been reliable and has made day-to-day device management much easier. It also integrates smoothly with our other platforms, and we can scan devices without any hassle, which helps us prevent viruses and malware from getting onto our systems. Pricing also feels flexible, with different packages that can fit a range of needs. The smart AI threat detection is another major plus—it saves time and helps us stay focused on other priorities. ESET PROTECT has an intuitive interface that makes it simple to manage devices, users, and security policies without much effort. Data syncs automatically across endpoints, so everything stays current regardless of where I access the system. I can quickly add, edit, or remove devices, and the structuring tools make it easier to keep the environment organized and efficient for day-to-day management. Getting to key reports and threat insights is also straightforward, which makes it a practical and reliable solution for maintaining strong, centralized security across all endpoints. ESET PROTECT has been stable for us and hasn’t crashed or gotten in the way of day to day work. I run heavy tools during the day and haven’t run into performance issues anymore. We use ransomware protection, device control endpoint monitoring, and role based access. It works alongside our existing systems without conflicts, which was a concern earlier.
