"Easy to use. Perfect Platform"

What do you like best about Equinix Metal?

Equinix Metal has a simple interface and is extremely easy to use. The accessibility and usability are very high. Additionally, offering a $300 credit as a starting point is quite beneficial. This credit is sufficient for familiarization and testing phases on the platform. The variety of operating systems provided is also at a very good level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Equinix Metal?

Currently, the prices are quite high. The rental servers are expensive for the targeted companies. It would be beneficial if they could offer higher-capacity solutions as well. The a3.large.x86 server does not cater to upper-segment users in terms of capacity. Additionally, users need to develop their own solutions for monitoring and logging purposes. What problems is Equinix Metal solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to quickly access metal servers has been very beneficial. We were able to sign up and start using it immediately. We also had a meeting with the customer representatives. We discussed areas of collaboration. Thanks to the widely distributed network, we were able to set up in different locations. Equinix Fabric is also extremely useful for connecting customer points to each other. Bare metal and NaaS services will bring Equinix to a very successful position. What do you like best about Equinix Metal?

Using it for GNS and qemu it is the best option ever, because you have the whole machine for your purposes and you will have it after a few clicks.

The support was very useful and they are very friendly, the chat was a piece of cake and the documentation is easy to find, also there are a few videos in youtube but if you have had experience with amazon web service then this would be pretty the same Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Equinix Metal?

Becase you will own the physical machine, even if you shutdown it you still have to pay it. This is the only thing you will miss about EC2 from AWS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Equinix Metal:

You will own the whole machine, so you can do whatever you want (KVM) with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
