"Not User-Friendly, Difficult to Navigate"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

If I had to highlight a positive, it would be that after extensive use, I’ve gotten somewhat accustomed to its interface and features. It does offer tools for managing workflows, but the usability makes it challenging to fully benefit from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Epsilon3 is not very user-friendly. The interface is hard to navigate, making it difficult to follow workflows and complete tasks efficiently. Even with experience, it’s still not intuitive, and I often find myself wishing for a simpler, more streamlined alternative Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks! Can you share more about what flows are difficult to follow or navigate so we can improve those?

"Epsilon 3 is already way better than our old system and getting better every week."
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Epsilon3 is fast, flexible, easy to use, and constantly getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Every now and then I find a simple feature that hasn't been implemented yet. For example, if I need epoxy to set for at least 15 minutes before moving on to the next step I should be able to subtract the mix time from the end step time and ensure it's been at least 15 minutes. You currently cant add timestamps to formulas. I've already reported the need for this ability to the help desk so it'll probably be implemented in the next month or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks! We're working on adding time stuff to formulas soon! You can also use the pause function as well as timers to make the step duration times the way you want.

"On the right Track"
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

i like the step by step explaination and the pictures that it provides Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

the fact that you have to do a procedure or process. its best as a read only guide instead of haveing to start a procedure and end the procedure. seems to be a waste of time . following the steps are just as good in the menu

there are many times when we are looking for a simple step or process that is missing and do not have the time to go through the whole process Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

I totally hear you! One of the parts of the value here is the tracking of process completions, timing, etc.

"Great website to follow procedures."
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

It has clear procedures with steps on what needs to be done.

When you find a guide it has many options of what could be happening, and how to resolve each issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

I still have not managed to use the search bar correctly, and still have issues with locating specific procedures.

Some procedures are out of date, like credit requests over 5k which was included in the s4 academy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! Can you tell me more about what issues you're seeing with the search functionality?

"Epsilon Review // Shift4"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

I like that you can clearly select steps, after one step what do you need to do when multiple results can occur.

It is also great that guides/articles can be adjusted, whenever needed for updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Interface sometimes can be unclear, it is hard to use. But once you get the hang of it, it is really a good system for guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thank you for the kind words! We are working to make it easier to use.

"Epsilon3 Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Helpful step by step procedures that help to deal with problems while communicating with clients. I also found that editing procedures is rather intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

The interface and certain procedures can be complicated to follow and not user friendly, especialy if it is your first time using Epsilon3. However I foudn that the help section has a lot of useful information that can assist in utilzing many aspects of Epsilon3. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks, Arijus! Glad to hear you like it. We are working to improve the user interface and make it even easier in the future, especially for new users.

"Game-changing execution - good now, will be great!"
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Robust config control, review and traceability.

Excellent data capture when you've set the procedures up correctly.

No photocopying or using clunky PDFs.

Easy sharing around teams without using email or other channels.

Hooks into our captured telemetry data for post-test exploitation.

Great and continually improving UI/UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Building procedures can feel clunky.

When procedures are built and manually amended, no option to review and update the source snippets - sometimes important changes get dropped unintentionally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks! We are working on some snippet update improvements in the near future to address what you're talking about.

"Excellent tool for collaborative process development"
5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

I appreciate the dynamic and collaborative nature of the tool for developing, iterating, and executing procedures and processes. The ability to customize the inputs and outputs to cater to my team's needs makes the quality of our work that much better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

I wish that it was easier to create template steps that could then be modified at certain variables. The snippets tool is great, but I want to have a configurable snippet after I paste it into a procedure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks! That's a great idea about configurable snippets! We'll look into that.

"Epsilon3 Review - Creating and Running Test Procedures"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

The user interface is simple and easy to use when creating procedures. The layout is also easy to read when executing procedures which is especially important in hazardous testing environments. I also like the abilty to add differnt types of media for each steps and use colors/ symbols to indicate key pieces of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

I think Epsilon3 could have better integration with other softwares. Not sure if this is a limiation of the software or just something my company didn't use, but I think an area for improvement is the ability to easily connect/ link procedures to other websites and softwares containing relevent documention , version control, etc. This would also help the versatility of E3. I also dislike how seemingly unrelated notifications would show up in my inbox for approvals of differnt procedures that were not relevant to me. There were several instances where my notifcations would be full of approval requests for procedures that were not actually requesting my approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! We recently released lots of integrations and are planning on more in the future. I hear you about the notifications; it's probably because you're part of a role that got added in the review process. You can fine-tune who has what roles and what roles are part of review processes to minimize that.
