The best thing is how it saves tou lots of time and it's a true lifesaver. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Well like every other thing out there there are good and bad things, so far I can't find any downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epsilon3?

I like epsilon3 because it has step by step guides on how to solve a problem, or how to perform a task. I use it a couple times per week, because the job that I'm working, requires me to research information in this platform. It is quite easy to use, because the search engine is pretty good, and its easy to find topics that I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

I think Epsilon3 sometimes lacks the simplicity, it is quite complex and not very intuitive at first, when you just start using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! We are working on some ways to simplify the UI while also keeping it as powerful as it is.

What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Running the procedures, when built right, it's really easy to understand the steps that you have to take. It's really good for Customer Support, guides are intergrated really great and easy to use. I use the app every single day with no issues at all. There's millions of features that you can implement like adding numbers, it calculating for you. Seems like it was really easy to implement the app to our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Sometimes the app works a bit slower, nothing too big but just a note. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks, Gintaras! Sorry to hear about the occasional performance issues; we are working to speed things up very soon!

"a massive step up over our old methodology of e-PDF with comments"
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

- clear and straight forward signature loop

- time stamped steps, etc work well

- great capability to export the time stamps for data analysis later

- typed notes much faster and neater than our old method of e-pdf with e-pen scribbles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

- can't seem to make a comment which NEEDs to be reviewed/signed. As in, a comment which is a dependency to a whole card being signed (minor thing)

- browsing for the procedures / runs isn't the easiest, luckily the search works well enough

- sometimes hard to find the procedure and not the run.

- would be great to have the flight test limitations section as hyperlinks to our jira boards where they detail the limitations (this might be up to the test card creator, i can't tell) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! We recently released some search-related updates that will help with some of those points and will look into the rest.

What do you like best about Epsilon3?

i really enjoy how it interfaces with the user with the planning is completed. it is user friendly and I also enjoy that it is not difficult to learn how to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

I would really love it if the checkboxes to make sure users have read the steps were on the right side instead of the left. The reason behind this is that it forces the user to completely read the steps rather than click it when it is on the left side. I also would like Epsilon3 to have the capanility to have different fonts and colors for the wording. There are times I want to highlight a step or a value and I cannot bold, italicize, underline, color the words in green or red.

Also when I am inputing data values from procedures and I have to look at about 50 runs on the same procedure this is very difficult. i want to run a procedure with a specific name or number so when i look through all the data it is easy to see which one it is rather than me geussing based ont he time it ran. I also want to see who started the run on that procedure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks, Angelica! This is great feedback! You can already name/number runs manually using tags and operations, and it already shows on the left side who started the run. You can also already use Markdown to format the text however you want except color, which is by design since the app reserves certain colors like red for warnings/errors. We'll definitely discuss the rest of your feedback with our design team!

"Ease of use"
5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

When procedures are made, following and completeing them makes it very simplistic and has the options to use for practically anything we need it for. It makes most people rely on it to use it frequently, as it is used daily for all orders we do, implementing any of our work procedures to this program works very smoothly, causing integration for out department such a simple step. The customer support tab in the corner makes it very easy to get to to use but its not in the way, but a nice reminder its there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

It can look very daunting at times, especially to others new to it, but other than the nit-picky thing, there are not many things i dislike about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the kind words! We would love to improve it for new users, so let us know if you have any ideas how.

"1st time "Flight" appreciated Epsilon"
4/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

The ability to redline/blueline modifications to operational procedures real-time while executing the procedures was very beneficial for a first flight of a development spacecraft system. The Comment function was used to record observations during flight to create a more detailed run log. Situational Awareness for multiple users in multiple locations on multiple platforms was also very beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

The flat fee structure is cost prohibitive when one requires numerous operators but all seats are the same cost as the few editors and administration required. The ability of every editor to start a new run could create issues with multiple users following different runs during the same operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! We are working on some refinements to our pricing based on this.

"The website is powerful but I often find traditional articles to be easier for me to reference."

What do you like best about Epsilon3?

It allows complex tasks to be broken down into a decision making tree. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

The UI make it difficult to navigate or understand for new users, which impacts the ease of use. There is no option that I could find to view an Epsilon procedure in an article format, a feature I would like to see. For that reason, I do not use it often compared to other databases. I haven't seen implementations or integrations of these procedures elsewhere as of right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! Can you share more about what you mean by an article format?

"Epsilon3 is a decent digital alternative to paper procedures"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Easy to use and intuitive. Able to get up and running in no time. I could replicate everything I had in my paper procedures (created in MS Word) in the Epsilon3 format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Making tables is not as easy or customizable as it is in Excel/Word. Specifically, making sure column widths were how I wanted them to look. Also, there was no way to add table numbers and titles and reference them by table number. A practical workaround was to make the table a step and refer to the step when I needed to reference the table.

One issue I had when running a procedure and signing off the steps was, when I went back to the document, the steps I signed off on earlier weren't signed. It's like it didn't update server-side or something. I resigned them and went about my day but when I came back to it again they weren't signed. Again!! This occured 3 times! I would also like to point out that one of those steps had a 30 minute timer, so every time I had to resign, I had to wait for that 30 minute timer to count down before continuing to buy-off steps. Right now this is a deal-breaker for me. When it's just me signing off it's an annoyance but if there were other technicians and quality involved this would create big problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks, Thomas! That's really helpful. I hear you on the tables being a bit cumbersome. We will be working on some improvements to help with that and want to make it as easy as and even better than Excel.

"With better and modern UI the experience could be better!"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Epsilon3?

Of course, Epsilon3 is a great way to find the procedures' processes, how to run them. Thanks to a great team who uploud and update the information! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epsilon3?

Epsilon, unfortunately, is not very user-friendly - it lacks a more modern look for UI, sometimes it is hard to figure out how to read the listed processes. I would like for the system to be more integrated with Zendesk, as in that steps would be directly described. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Mednik of Epsilon3

Thanks for the feedback! We are working on some design improvements to address this.
