Stores different revisions of the same file and can be fetched whenever we want. Remembers all sorts of dates and links. It is a good thing to have all the information about the files created. **What do you dislike about ENOVIA SmarTeam?** UI is a bit bland. Could be user friendly and fast. An inbuilt tutorial and more options to automate (a process that is frequently used to fetch certain kinds of data) are desired. **What problems is ENOVIA SmarTeam solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mostly use it to open the files of a certain revision of a certain file. It has all sorts of data from created date to the user who created for all the revisions of all the files. It has several options to search for the file we want. We can get the data of the other files linked to the files we are modifying. overall it makes life easy when it comes to managing the data in a huge database. ### 2. It is the perfect environment to integrate the engineering data and design data in a single database. Also, it is the most powerful system ever created for the Configuration Management and Model-Based design. Super-secure, smoothly perfect integration between applications. The Configuration Control Management features are impressive, second to none; I cannot even imagine how to do that my company does in terms of Product Life Cycle without Smarteam. CATIA needs no words: it is simply the most powerful 3D design software in the world. **What do you dislike about ENOVIA SmarTeam?** The integration with Manufacturing and Maintenance systems to control work orders is something that has to be improved (for example, integration with software packages such as SOLUMINA). **Recommendations to others considering ENOVIA SmarTeam:** Smarteam is the perfect work environment for seamless integration of the configuration control. I openly and confidently recommend this system to any company which will endeavor in the Aerospace industry as configuration control is vital for any certification of aeronautical / aviation products. **What problems is ENOVIA SmarTeam solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mechanical design and installation of aerospace systems and components. Perhaps 15 mins to sometimes 1 hour. So during release of products it was bit hectic .
