"A really flexible tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

The annotation interface is really easy to use. When we got started, Encord handled all of the integration work, which was also very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

We've been using it for a while, and sometimes there are features that we didn't realize the platform had. The feature discoverability could be better, but their Slack support is very responsive in answering our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and handy labeling tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Simple tool for labeling work, easy navigation and keybody shortcuts. Object tracking feature is really cool. I wonder how accutrate that can be when there is small drone/ flying object not that stable in the video. User can custom many things in editor setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

Double click for bounding box is something to improve, One click, release and done. Video editor performance can be improved a lot, user with best resources are not able to get efficient throughput. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encord used by experienced Materialise mimics user."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

I love how encord is cloud based. This allows anyone with a browser to use the software. Removing the need for hardware constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

I dislike that we cannot use a lasso tool feature to select our areas of interpolation. Instead, we are required to place dots everywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Product, Superhuman Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Encord's support, APIs and documentation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

As someone focused on integration, I have been happy with the options to push data to the platform or have them pull it from our S3 bucket.

Some of the functionality we required was not implemented in the platform initially (a minor dislike?), but the turnaround to put it on the roadmap and deliver it was great.

We would like more flexibility in defining multilevel workflows (annotator oversight/QA) and/or annotator assessment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Taylor made solution for our company"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Encord has been great for us. We have a rather specific problem and were impressed that Encord was able to solve it precisely. It has been working consistently for us for a while and the customer support is super helpful and responsive, no matter what our query is. The tool is also pretty easy to use for employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

Just better notification when updates have been pushed to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hands-off data labeling once the initial project details are provided, quick responses to questions, and always willing to hop on a call to help with any challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

The user interface for providing feedback on annotations could be better, if the goal is to allow the client to perform quality analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encord is an excellent product which has changed the way we work."
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Encord have an excellent tool for annotating data. The ability to use micro-models and object tracking to create labels automatically has hugely improved our data annotation pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

It's difficult to think of anything I dislike about Encord. It is an excellent platform with a brilliant and motivated team behind it. I believe that the process of adding pre-annotated data could be improved, but that's about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encord is great!"
4/5
What do you like best about Encord?

- How they talk to users - it's been really nice having a lifeline during the early phases of the product, and seeing them be responsive. Basically makes up for (m)any bugs we've encountered because we can count on the team caring

- Open api!

- Wide support for data structures - the problem we have with alternatives is they often don't support pose, subclassifications, etc. Encord works well for those types of data + as well as (as far as I can intuit) medical imaging, etc. specialty data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

- The editor feels a bit "good old fashioned"; I would love a labelling editor that was built less like a Microsoft product, and more like a modern productivity product, like Linear, Superhuman, or VS Code. I think I could get more bang for my buck if our annotators had quicker workflows to work with.

- Being fairly cutting edge in what we're doing, our flows evolve quite quickly. Often we end up making our own in-house labelling tools anyway, for specific / creative workflows we have. I wonder if there's a way for Encord to be the platform for that, so they can handle all the data transfer, authentication, hosting, etc. and allow you to build "extensions" like you would for an IDE. Basically, a Data IDE. I'm aware this may not be a trivial step from the current product, just sharing what *I* personally want / need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
