The video annotation tool provided by Encord is great and makes it easy to annotate frames in a video sequence, even for complex actions such as tracking moving parts in the manufacturing of espresso machines. The throughput and quality dashboards are a great help in understanding team performance on an admin level. Since our clients need to know exactly which team members are not doing so well and which task areas need more support I am able to get those insight at the click of a button and report them to the client.

Projects are broken down into silos with no interactivity within projects even if in the same space. There is no known way to clone the ontology and assignees from one project to another and I have to manually set that up from scratch each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that I can use polygonal or freehand tools, easy to use sculpture tool and the way I can easily communicate with the reviewer. Simple but powerful interface of the encord tool is a lifesaver especially when I am working with annotation intense studies with multiple objects. Thes objects, when they are created, can easily be manipulated in terms of classification, merging and dividing. I can zoom in and out do as much as annotation as I want and just close the study without losing any of my progress. If reviewer requests additional annotations or corrections they can refer to each problem in relation to the objects we need to fix.

Managing large annotation teams and annotation workloads is easy and was the main reason we switched to Encord from our own internal tool. Easy to use hotkeys makes manual annotations quick to add and edit. Model-assisted annotation with micro-models seems to be working well, but we haven’t fully utilized the feature yet.
