"Flexible and powerful labeling platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

One of the best bits of Encord are the powerful ontologies we can create. We can build a really complex labelling structure to cover advanced labelling requirements. Even more useful when combined with the action classification - means you can create very rich datasets to train a ML model on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

There's nothing we majorly dislike about Encord. The platform is easy to use and responsive, and it doesn't take long to get our annotators up to speed with it. And any bug that does pop up gets dealt with really quickly. Good customer support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is good but can be better"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Their Annotation platform is insightful. It's easy to understand but sometimes hard to visualize things. It supports various types of annotations like Classifications and segmentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

Sometimes it's just cumbersome to run the videos. The expert review feature might not be very intuitive. Subclassification labels might not be labeled properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My favorite annotation product"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Very robust annotation interface, easy to use, and quick to annotate lots of frames/visuals. I explored many, many annotation tools and I enjoy using Encord by far the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

Have seen occasional slowness/connection errors, but the interface is good at reporting them and making sure you don't lose data since it does auto-saving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-friendly training data platform, flexible API"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

Encord has helped us streamline our data pipelines and get our training data into one place. We've managed to build fairly seamless integrations using the flexible API -- it has evolved a lot since we started using it, and we've been pleased about the team's general responsiveness and speed in implementation. We've also been using some of the customizable dashboards & reports in our reporting, which has been a plus. The user interface is easy to navigate, and the object detection annotation tools (bounding box, etc.) are very expansive in functionality as we can define rich ontologies supported in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

There is a bit of a learning curve at the start, mostly due to a few bits and pieces missing from the documentation, but that seems to have improved massively over the past few months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust AI-assisted annotation tool for medical AI companies. Great support!"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

I appreciate the emphasis on FDA compliance in the annotation tool. The data generated from the tool is auditable and can be reviewed in specific ways, making it very handy for FDA clearance. This is especially beneficial for AI companies like ours building cutting-edge machine learning capabilities for stroke detection.

Support has been excellent -- the team oftentimes replies faster than I hit enter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

The tool currently lacks some support for native model-assisted labeling on medical imagery which is a minor dislike and would speed things up a lot, but it seems that the team is working on it? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encord's DICOM Solution: A Comprehensive and User-Friendly Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

- I appreciate how user-friendly the software is. The interface is intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and utilize all of the features.

- The annotation tools are robust and allow for efficient and accurate labeling of various medical images - we're mostly doing MRI and CT, which seems to work well & renders consistently.

- The workflow management system streamlines the process of managing and organizing data for clinical machine learning workflows, which helps us keep track of cases and improves the overall organization of our data pipelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

- I haven't encountered any major issues with the software, but one minor inconvenience is that it doesn't have a mobile app, so I can't access it on my phone or tablet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use training data platform for annotation and model validation"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

The option of serving our models on their platform gives us the flexibility to use it as a ‘model proof-of-concept / validation system’ with a human in the loop that helps to uncover blindspots and edge cases in our production models. Annotation tools are easy to use and cover most of the various annotation types we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

We sometimes encounter a few functions missing from the Python SDK vs what’s present in the API, but the team tends to be pretty responsive in getting them added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform, game changer for annotations"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

For research and the other things, I am a heavy user of different annotation tools and I can confidently say that Encord is one of the best ones out there. Its versatility and ever-evolving nature never cease to amaze me, allowing me to annotate objects with ease and precision. I particularly enjoy using the polygonal and freehand tools, as well as the sculpture tool for more complex annotations. The interface is simple yet powerful and making annotation-intensive studies a breeze, especially when working with multiple objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Encord?

I have had no major issues with Encord yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Performant annotation tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Encord?

We have a large number of annotations per image, this was the first tool we used that didn’t have performance issues with the number of annotations while labelling. Their turbo mode feature is also very nifty for our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
