eNauka is an information system designed to monitor and showcase the scientific output of researchers and institutions in Serbia. It provides a unified platform for displaying scientific publications, researchers' areas of expertise, and their achievements. By utilizing personal ORCID numbers, researchers can verify their author profiles, ensure data accuracy, and identify any publications not linked to their profiles. The University of Kragujevac, encompassing 12 faculties and the Institute for Information Technologies, with its 1,330 researchers, is the first to implement this new portal. The full launch of eNauka for all active researchers in Serbia is anticipated during the summer.
Key Features and Functionality:
- Unified Scientific Output Display: Aggregates and presents scientific publications and achievements of researchers and institutions.
- ORCID Integration: Allows researchers to link their ORCID numbers for profile verification and data accuracy.
- Institutional Implementation: Initial rollout at the University of Kragujevac, serving as a model for other institutions.
Primary Value and User Solutions:
eNauka addresses the need for a centralized system to monitor and showcase scientific contributions in Serbia. It enhances transparency, facilitates collaboration, and ensures accurate representation of researchers' work, thereby promoting the advancement of science and technology in the region.
