Also the final version of the pO is overly wordy. Vendors don't need to know which account code, project etc . I will prefer just item, qty, amount. But I really enjoy the simplicity of their app. It makes keeping up with expenses while traveling for work extremely easy. The ability to take pictures on the go, track and record without skipping an beat, allows you to focus while on the road. **What do you dislike about Emburse Nexonia?** I will say that both the app and desktop version of their site does look a bit dated, it could use some updated UX/UI. It takes some time getting used to the design, so there are some opportunities to improve the ease of use. **Recommendations to others considering Emburse Nexonia:** If you are looking for a simple, easy to use app for expenses, I really think you cannot go wrong with Nexonia. Having used other apps before at different organizations, I was really impresses from the initial experience, and have grown to be really comfortable using the app. When you are traveling for work, keeping up and creating an expense report can be the last thing you want to do when you get home. Using Nexonia allows me to do this in real time, by the time I am in the office the next day, my expense report has already been submitted. **What problems is Emburse Nexonia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple and quick way to keep up with expenses and get them over to our accounting team for reimbursement. Also the syncing feature (app/desktop) is convenient **What do you dislike about Emburse Nexonia?** I personally didn't use the app as much as desktop-I didn't find it as intuitive (even though it did sync well when I did). Minor issue, when receipts are uploaded via desktop and you need to review it, you have to zoom in, sometimes rotate the receipt to see it better. **Recommendations to others considering Emburse Nexonia:** Don't be intimidated by the platform at first, it may seem overwhelming but once you submit a couple reports it is super easy. **What problems is Emburse Nexonia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Just being able to get reimbursed quickly by submitting expenses. Especially when you have a ton of receipts to upload. (our prior system was super archaic, we had to tape receipts on an 8 X 10 sheet of paper and scan each sheet of paper. Before we were using a system that had was on our physical computers at work. Being able to use the app and online feature from anywhere, especially in the age of COVID-19 is super helpful. **What do you dislike about Emburse Nexonia?** Sometimes the drop-downs are buggy, but not often! **What problems is Emburse Nexonia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nexonia has made our billing and timesheets much easier and faster. I now spend 1/4 the time I used to on my timesheet and am able to do it from anywhere. It's easy to copy over weeks and just change amounts of time if I have project carryover. ### 28. I can do it from my phone quickly and anywhre there is internet. If I make a mistake, it is easy to adjust or delete an entry or picture. **What do you dislike about Emburse Nexonia?** I have to go into transactions, reports, and take apicture and add it to the reports, editing the details as I go. It would be nice to have a multi add feature from the transactions to deal with several transactions being added to a new report at once, then just deal with pictures. **Recommendations to others considering Emburse Nexonia:** I highly recommend this as a convenient way to track and report expenses. I work far away from the central offices and can get my information to my supervisors and teammates with out having to travel or take time on the road. On the back end, our finance team uses Netsuite and needed a product that integrated with that as we were importing data files several times a week prior to getting Nexonia. Lastly, we needed a system that allowed for dependent fields - as a project-based organization, this was crucial. Nexonia was one of only a few systems that could handle this, where if you select one field, then the following fields can be restricted based on the prior answer. You have to be a salaried employee to request time off and have it approved. Uploading receipts that are multiple pages makes multiple receipt images that are unassociated. I have to add and delete each image one by one. The concept of linking and not linking is confusing. In the modern day business, it's common for professionals to have to submit multiple expense reports each month, each segmented by billable/not billable, internal vs each unique client. If I only had to submit a single expense report and all expenses went to the same report each month, this program would work.
