As a pre-built product with customisation opportunities, ELMO is a simple to implement and even simpler to use software. Our Account Manager is always providing us with the latest launch notes and taking feedback to ensure that we can utilise the system to the best of our ability. Elmo is very user friendly and does all of the things that we were looking for in an HRIS/Payroll system. All of our staff have been able to use it without too much training. It was fairly easy to implement and has integreated well with Xero which is our accounting system. It has replaced all of our paperbased time sheets, leave request and outlook leave calendar, so it is used everyday by the majority of our staff. The customer support has been pretty good. Some of the reports in the payroll side are quite limited and it would be better if we could customise them. To be fair to Elmo though the payroll product is one that they have a licence for it is not their own product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favourite aspects of ELMO are the training, onboarding and recruitment module. ELMO is also easy to learn to use, and can help you to onboard new employees with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ELMO software can sometimes be a bit rigid. Some aspects can be improved. It would be nice if you could save individual items like qualifications in ELMO, and set specific dates for when each individual item needs to be renewed, and a notification will be recieved when this is required. it would be nice if you could save employee files in ELMO with categories with ease, so that can be stored and also accessed with ease. While you can store files in ELMO, it would be nice if the employee had a folder where all of their training etc could be stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The home page is easy to navigate and presents well. The side bar is self-explanatory and gives clear direction as to where to find what you're looking for. The 'my pay RTA'/payroll add on is clear, helpful and easy to use. The 'Recruitment' section is good and easy to use as well. The biggest downfall for me personally with ELMO, is that it can be a little bit clunky when trying to find the 'shared with me' documents. The search bar isn't helpful in most cases, for example if I want to find a HR document relating to a new start called John Smith, typing the name doesn't yield any result, instead I have to search for the manager who completed the HR form and sift through the results. It combined 4 seperate platforms for HR use into one - the end user experience is great - lot of visibility of own and team forms, processess and learning. Great implementation manager for CORE. Some of the recruitment processes are "fixed" and not as tailorable as we like (eg HR team manages all recruitment but cannot turn off recruiting managers being able to move people between stages which can cause confusion). PayRTA is best available product for our needs but does not meet our needs.eg Unable to establish second factor approval for certain leave types, cannot auto reject leave application that exceeds projected balance. The best part of the ELMO system is the intuity. It's clean interface and profile pictures make the system attractive to use. However the key distinguishing feature is the ability to adjust and customise learning modules relevant to your industry/organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The performance framework can be muddly - particuarly if you don't do performance reviews for everyone at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are lsome great tools for safety teams. We use the learning modules for compliance training and for recording completion of external mandatory training for staff. We have also set up inductions in the learning. We have used the online forms for our Work from home safety checklist, and survey tools for reviewing the effectiveness of some safety PPE. I am yet to be an expert in the back end, so not a real downside, but I need to learn how to use it better to get the most out of it. There are some many features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
