Decent product with opportunities to expand functions for all types of users, businesses **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kyle T. | Assistant Director, Corporate Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023 **What do you like best about Ellucian CRM Advancement?** Ellucian is an average product that does exactly what it is created to be used for...for Sales/Business Development folks, this product is a good tool for tracking your clients, new clients, capturing relevant data, entering gifts or 'sales'. **What do you dislike about Ellucian CRM Advancement?** I think Ellucian could really expand their services to be more robust...while Salesforce is considered one of the 'top' products or CRMs, I think Ellucian should have more cross-functionality with the Microsoft Suite of products or Office365...this would help in logging emails, calls, any sort of outreach, which saves the employee tons of time instead of manual entry. **What problems is Ellucian CRM Advancement solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ellucian helps our staff stay on the same page when it comes to details or data...if client makes an outreach or we make an outreach, it's important that our team is on the same page. So logging notes or things other users may need to know is valuable...only if the whole team follows our rules and standards to things actually work. ### 2. I can search and break down information for reports and submit them promptly. I like the information at my fingertips. ### 3. I have no toher experience with a CRM. Advance does not tell a story with the data. **What problems is Ellucian CRM Advancement solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps people find the right donors according to their needs and provides totals for fundraising purposes. ### 4. It's also a relatively light program that does not use a lot of resources. Also wonderful that it can easily integrate with other Ellucian products like Banner. Also has the ability to have Reeher sit "on top" of the platform to access information. **What do you dislike about Ellucian CRM Advancement?** Drawbacks are that the platform has an antiquated appearance and uses lots of crystal reports. Support has drastically been scaled back over time and it's being replaced by much newer services and platforms like salesforce and blackbaud. **What problems is Ellucian CRM Advancement solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform is helping us with our CRM in fundraising.
