What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

Ease of use and the ability for our PMs and OMs to see all the invoices they need to view and approve in one grid. It is easy, efficient and a great tool for getting invoice processing and review/approvals done much faster than we could before we implemented EI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

There is one comments field that is dynamic and opens very wide in the program grid, but they are working on that. And currently it runs on Internet Explorer, which they need to update. They are aware of the need to move it into being more browser agnostic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EleVia Electronic Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?

It speeds up processing invoices enormously. It is currently not possible to view invoices all together in one grid in either Vision or Vantagepoint. It's very cumbersome for PMs and OMs to keep changing projects and switching from one to another in the Vision or Vantagepoint interface. With EI they can easily review, mark up UnBiled details and easily see whether they've already reviewed a project's invoices.

The flexibility of being able to add custom columns for budget calculations we want to see in the EI grid makes this a very useful tool.

In addition to the standard packaging features, we've worked with Elevia to create custom templates for invoice packaging. That is a real time saver when we are assembling required documentation and invoices to send to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

1. It requires more involvement for the PM. At our firm, in the past, the Project Accountant drove the billing meetings. Now the PMs are driving.

2. The PMs love all the project detail that is at their finger tips.

3. E.I. is moving the whole process along faster.

4. The PAs love the packaging.

5. PAs love that they can add documents such as Purchase Orders to packaging that shows up every month that they are required to give to the client.

6. The ease of reviewing Expenses and Consultant invoices from PAT and Chrome River that are processed in Vision.

7. PAs love the ability to save the % complete values back to Vision and no longer have to manually add these items to Vision. Big time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

1. That EleVia doesn't have enough consultants to get the work done in a timely manner.

2. Unable to load documents easily into the EI tab in project info center, verses having to load them thru E.I.

3. The inability to hide the Fee Method / Scheduled Billing inside % Complete.

4. Need a clear button in PM review of % Complete.

5. Unable to add percent complete and hit the enter key to advance forward, need to use the tab key. Most naturally hit the enter key.

6. Loading time. If you could spend up the time it takes for things to load.

7. If you can come up with a way to access prior unbilled detail and invoices more easily. Hen pecking thru the files is not intuitive for PMs, especially if there has been several draft runs.

Recommendations to others considering EleVia Electronic Invoicing:

Yes I would recommend EI to others as it gives Project Managers a wealth of information at their finger tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EleVia Electronic Invoicing solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Speeding up the invoicing process overall from preparing the drafts to final invoice.

2. It provides data that projects accountants use to cut and paste to the draft invoice. Very time intensive.

3. Provides the ability to send draft invoices to the client more simply and we can stamp them with the word draft in one place verses using several softwares to complete the task.

4. We can easily add documents on the fly without using multiple softwares to accomplish this.

5. It the first step to a larger plan. We plan on implementing Forecast Edge and have E.I and Forecast edge talk to one another.

6. Overall long term, we've only been using it for 2 months, we hope it will decrease the time it takes to send an invoice to the client.

7. Overall we hope it will allow our PAs to be more efficient in their process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to review EI. I have sent this list to the consulting team to review, as some of your concerns may have been addressed in a different release. If not we can certainly add them as an enhancement request.

The slowness of the grid development has found was due to a recent windows update. Development is working on this issue, once resolved, we will set up a time to schedule your upgrade.

What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

The Project Grid allows PM's and Billers to know at a glance where all projects are at in the process to aid in a quick and effient review by PM's. Billers can easily see when PM's have finished their review and can finalize invoices with ease. What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

We no longer have project folder exchanging going on, which has reduced the possibility of misplacing project folders! Everything is now visible electronically for everyone, and reviewing and approving client invoices are now much easier and more efficient. Our Billing Staff can see which invoices remain outstanding at a glance instead of having to chase down upper management to get them completed. This software has allowed us to reduce our AR DOS by 15-18 days in just over 4-5 months, which has had a tremendous effect on cash flow! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

The e-mail reminder is a great feature, however, we are still navigating the best way to utilize it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Far quicker turn-around for people reviewing and approving invoices. As indicated earlier, we have reduced our AR DOS by like 15-18 days, which has resulted in better cash flow overall! Management can better understand their projects financial position at a glance which they have appreciated tremendously! What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

Being able to track the stages of each invoice and using the tools for creating the invoice package, which can be emailed directly from the system to clients. I also like the automated email notifications that prompt each user they have an action to take. I also appreciate all the ways to filter the page, download, and customize for your own use. What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

There isn't a good way for the reviewer and approver to move the invoice to and from each other if needed. The flow is one way and not back and forth, which makes sense but there are times when the approver wants the reviewer to make a change and it needs to flow through the biller and then back out again. Hi Stacey, Thank you for taking the time to review EI. Actually, there is a way to send invoices back and forth with a stage change. We also have parallel approvals where multiple reviewers/approvers can see the invoice PDF at the same time. You should contact support to review your options.

That is correct, invoices are still created in your main Vision/Vantagepoint database as that is where your financial information is captured. EI is a tool that reads from your database and provides a one-stop view for pertinent data to approve and review invoices, ( JTD details, and other information as opposed to running multiple reports in Vision / Vantagepoint.

What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

We were able to customize the columns, stages, workflows. It allowed us to fit the software to our ideal process rather than the other way around. Additionally, the software consolidates all of the necessary information in one place rather than having to review several different reports during the billing process. We also love the Final Packaging capabilities as it makes it easy to adjust what information a client receives at the click of a button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

I wish that there were more options for what PDFs are viewable within the product. It would also be helpful if the Create Email were able to email more than one contact; while we can edit the email it requires us to track who invoices go to in a spreadsheet. Before Electronic Invoicing our process for invoicing was extremely manual - it encompassed printing, scanning, using BlueBeam to mark up invoices, etc. Additionally, Electronic Invocing give the PMs/PICs greater visibility into the projects and consolidates lots of information into a customizable dashboard. You can email more than one contact, we just need to set up the packaging parameter to send Batch EMails. Not sure what version of EI you are running and you may need to upgrade for this feature. What do you like best about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

We are able to get Invoicing our to our clients faster. As the operations Accounting Manager I am able to see what stage invoices are in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EleVia Electronic Invoicing?

It is very slow to load information to view.

Small quirky items happen that are hard to resolve. Example: Some of our Final Invoices are going to the Draft folder. it is time consuming to reach out and get resolution.

I wish there was a way to have a delete previous version if you create a new package for the invoice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We would like to send out the first draft to multiple people or a group of people instead of only one person. We would also like to have more control at the task leve of the invoices so that we could send parts of the invoice based on task to individuals that are in charge of the org assigned to that task.
