"Not the Elementor it used to be"
What do you like best about Elementor?

I started using Elementor many years ago to build websites quickly. It was a great tool and it still is very helpful when I build any new websites for clients. The drag and drop WYSIWYG tools are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elementor Pro: the only “pro” is how professionally they ghost you"
What do you like best about Elementor?

The only thing worth appreciating about Elementor Pro is the abundance of third-party tutorials and community resources online — especially on YouTube. Without those, you'd be completely lost. If you had to rely solely on Elementor’s own support team to solve even basic issues, you'd be absolutely screwed. The user community is doing the heavy lifting that the company clearly doesn’t care to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elementor?

I’ve been completely locked out of my account for days, and Elementor's support has been utterly useless. After updating my email, 2FA stopped working entirely — no authentication codes are being sent. I've tried logging in over 50 times. Still nothing.

I opened 6 support tickets. The only two times someone replied, they asked for basic info and then said they needed to escalate the issue to another department. The first time, I actually got a response from that department, asking for a new email to replace the broken one. I sent it — and never heard from them again.

The second time, I wasn’t even lucky enough to get that far. I’ve followed up multiple times, and I know they’re reading the messages (I'm using Mailtrack), but they’ve completely ignored me. It's a black hole.

Elementor Pro is not a professional-grade tool. It may look sleek on the surface, but if something goes wrong — especially something critical like account access — you’re completely on your own. The support team is unresponsive, disorganized, and not trustworthy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"best content buider for wordpress"
What do you like best about Elementor?

Elementor is a powerful website builder that makes web design accessible and visually appealing, especially for those with no programming experience. Its drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, allowing users to create stunning websites without coding. Changes are visible in real time, speeding up the process and making it more satisfying. It offers a wide range of widgets, pre-designed templates, and responsive settings, adapting to any vision or brand. Ideal for both beginners and advanced users, it integrates seamlessly with other tools as a WordPress plugin. Additionally, its support for dynamic content is invaluable for blogs, online stores, or membership sites. Its active community and additional resources make it even more versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elementor?

While Elementor is a robust and versatile website builder, it does come with a few drawbacks that may challenge some users. One common issue is performance; websites built with Elementor can sometimes load slower due to the additional CSS and JavaScript it generates. This often requires optimization to ensure smooth performance.

Another concern is dependency; once a site is built with Elementor, switching to a different platform or reverting to native WordPress editing can require significant redesign efforts. While beginner-friendly, mastering advanced features like dynamic content or complex layouts presents a learning curve that demands time and effort.

The pricing model is another consideration. Although the free version offers useful tools, key functionalities such as theme building, WooCommerce integration, and advanced widgets are only available in the Pro version, which might not suit everyone’s budget.

Lastly, plugin conflicts and the overuse of custom code can lead to bloated websites and occasional troubleshooting, making site maintenance more challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The support has sent us to solve the issues ourselves."
What do you like best about Elementor?

The visual page builder is very intuitive and pretty much easy to use and implement for the money, we have used it for a considerable time for our SaaS website making dozens of various landing pages. The Wordpress integration is good, that was a critical point for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elementor?

The UI builder gets extremely slow and prone to freezes and crashes on fresh Mac M2 and Windows machines, our pages being pretty basic, not filled with animations or complex responsive elements. We also had tons of various plugin conflicts which added to constant technical issues and downtime, Some basic pages were also non-SEO indexable with no solution, which was our last bell. The crash issues lie in low domain memory limits on the Elementor server side, which was constantly raised by Elementor admins time after time. However this did not solve the issues with slow and laggy work of the UI builder. The worst part is we have received a great deal of useless, unhelpful responses from the customer support team during all of 2024, some of which have been pretty unprofessional and sent us to solve our issues ourselves. We have recently decided to switch the page provider for good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
