Top Rated Elementor Alternatives

Elementor (especially the paid version) is my go-to tool when creating websites for clients who need it fast. It's easy to change anything that you see visually and Elementor gives you the possibility to insert anything effortlessly. Installation takes just a few minutes and it requires no prior knowledge. It's easy to implement as well, as most themes already come with Elementor. I also love that it's easy to design the site for each device: pc, mobile and tablet. I use it every time my clients need a site "yesterday". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally don't like the yearly subscription, but it's not that expensive to be sensitive about. Sometimes when going deep with settings, it's hard to find out which element is causing a visual glitch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Elementor is a powerful website builder that makes web design accessible and visually appealing, especially for those with no programming experience. Its drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, allowing users to create stunning websites without coding. Changes are visible in real time, speeding up the process and making it more satisfying. It offers a wide range of widgets, pre-designed templates, and responsive settings, adapting to any vision or brand. Ideal for both beginners and advanced users, it integrates seamlessly with other tools as a WordPress plugin. Additionally, its support for dynamic content is invaluable for blogs, online stores, or membership sites. Its active community and additional resources make it even more versatile. While Elementor is a robust and versatile website builder, it does come with a few drawbacks that may challenge some users. One common issue is performance; websites built with Elementor can sometimes load slower due to the additional CSS and JavaScript it generates. This often requires optimization to ensure smooth performance.
Another concern is dependency; once a site is built with Elementor, switching to a different platform or reverting to native WordPress editing can require significant redesign efforts. While beginner-friendly, mastering advanced features like dynamic content or complex layouts presents a learning curve that demands time and effort.
The pricing model is another consideration. Although the free version offers useful tools, key functionalities such as theme building, WooCommerce integration, and advanced widgets are only available in the Pro version, which might not suit everyone’s budget.
Lastly, plugin conflicts and the overuse of custom code can lead to bloated websites and occasional troubleshooting, making site maintenance more challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The visual page builder is very intuitive and pretty much easy to use and implement for the money, we have used it for a considerable time for our SaaS website making dozens of various landing pages. The Wordpress integration is good, that was a critical point for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI builder gets extremely slow and prone to freezes and crashes on fresh Mac M2 and Windows machines, our pages being pretty basic, not filled with animations or complex responsive elements. We also had tons of various plugin conflicts which added to constant technical issues and downtime, Some basic pages were also non-SEO indexable with no solution, which was our last bell. The crash issues lie in low domain memory limits on the Elementor server side, which was constantly raised by Elementor admins time after time. However this did not solve the issues with slow and laggy work of the UI builder. The worst part is we have received a great deal of useless, unhelpful responses from the customer support team during all of 2024, some of which have been pretty unprofessional and sent us to solve our issues ourselves. We have recently decided to switch the page provider for good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Currently the design of the editor is a little bit clancky, but they promised they will redesign it.
Also, for the most advanced clients it's still better to code up the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Elementor is how well it integrates and how often it is updated. It connects with WordPress seamlessly, making it simple for me to build and edit designs. My websites remain current and effective because of the regular upgrades that guarantee I always have access to new features and enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I find annoying with Elementor is that given its abundance of options, the UI can occasinally feel a little overhwelming. Although having so much versatility is fantastic, at first it might be overwhelming to find your way around all the options and functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As software it's very easy to use. Before I using to Wix (as a friendly interface) as Wordpress was more dificult for me. Elementor made Wordpress more user-friendly. I was using Elementor on every website. It is very easy to implement and to use. It does integrate very easily with all plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A couple month ago I bougth an Elementor Hosting - Lite by mistake. In 4 years as their client this was my first mistake in subscribing a plan. Imediately I explained I ask a refund which was denied. So I have to pay for a one year plan I don't need and bought by mistake. I had 4 subscriptions for websites. Now I am leaving Elementor for good. Customer support will let you down. I like how when you completely uninstall their plugins, they do not automatically install themselves again as their subscriptions seem to do. I also like installing a competitor tool, and having it work so much better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My experience with Elementor was disappointing, especially regarding their subscription renewal process. I was charged $179.88 for an automatic renewal that I never intended. Even though I hadn't used the service at all in the previous year, customer support wouldn't consider a refund, citing their rigid Terms and Conditions. My repeated emails to their support team were either ignored or met with unhelpful responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only dislike is that recent containers doesn't have wrap link to make the whole element clickable, when we represent it in 'a' tag it cause some issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
