I really do like the tabs like in web browsers. Many time in the day I have to switch between taking meeting minutes to side notes from my supervisor and it allows me to multitask more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about EditPad Lite is that it is free, I do not have to worry about licensing costs when installing, it has everything you could want from a simple text editing software, searches, text replacement, create documents new, plus others that are also useful, I love that it is very light I am a web developer and sometimes I have many applications that consume many resources of my computer and it is necessary to make a quick code adjustment in some application at those moments EditPad comes as a ring to the finger, I just have to open the file modify and send all this without having to close the any application to free resources. Finally I feel that it is so complete that Notepad comes installed by default in my operating system. I also use the portable version when I'm not on my computer, I always carry it on a pendrive and it has saved my life on many occasions for important adjustments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The advanced search functions are paid and somewhat expensive in my opinion I would like to be able to search with regular expressions at a lower cost within the program. Another thing that is missing in EditPad Lite is the highlighting of syntax, I use it basically with HTML and PHP applications so I could use great colors to help in quick edits. What I like most about this editor is that it is very simple, easy to use, and very intuitive. At first glance, you might not like it, but you can give it a chance, of course.

One of the most attractive things is that you can directly edit the text files using (code pages)

What I like most about Editpad Lite is the unlimited undo and redo features.

It is all on the screen visible. It allows me to catch mistakes I might not catch in Word. I had it for about a year and started using about six months ago. I have used it for two projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that it doesn't have Word wrap. Sometimes it won't recognize the program and will open gibberish or say failed. I have a hard time in using some of the features, but still learning. The manuscripts it didn't recognize I put in Word. I have to use Edit Pad Pro 7 then transfer to Edit Pad Lite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a text editing application that allows you to edit text documents using better tools than the windows text editor. It's easy to install , it takes a significant amount of storage space and it's an open source application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its a good program for searching data dumps and gets its job done. Pretty straightforward when it comes to searching through the document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
