What I love most about Echometer is how much admin work it simply takes off my plate. Preparing and following up on retrospectives is dramatically easier thanks to the excellent template library—smart, well‑structured, and actually useful in real-life agile teams. Instead of reinventing the retro every time, I can focus on what really matters: the conversation.

The action item tracking is another big win. Measures don’t just disappear into the void after the retro—they stay visible, traceable, and relevant. This alone has significantly increased the impact of our retros.

A standout feature for me is the release‑train–wide pulse checks with heatmaps. They make long‑term trends and team development visible at a glance and enable meaningful conversations beyond individual teams. It’s incredibly valuable for spotting patterns early instead of reacting too late.

And last but definitely not least: the Echometer team itself. The support is fast, friendly, and genuinely interested in feedback. You can tell they really care about improving the product and helping their users succeed—and that makes a huge difference.

1 to 1 feature appeared to be not quite what Ive expected. But it was not the main thing that we wanted from this tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We do not have a dedicated Scrum Master in our team, so the facilitation for the retro has to be done by a team member. With Echometer, it is very easy to create and conduct a retro. You can choose from many templates and receive facilitation guidance on what the template aims at. The team health check has already provided interesting insights in the first retro, as questions were asked that had not come up before.

I am pleased with this tool and am already looking forward to the long-term evaluation that collects metrics over multiple retros.

I must admit that a little too many bugs appear on a regular basis to call it "perfect". But: Whenever I reported a bug the support team answered very fast. As far as I remember every single bug was handled and fixed within around 24h, which is way faster than my own company ;)
