I appreciate the service that EasyPost provides! The easy-to-use API is one of the biggest things I like about them, we can custom program apps to integrate directly with the platform, therefore eliminating a lot of double entry for our team. The search feature when trying to look up a specific past label could be improved. It used to be simple to find a customer's label within their portal by searching by name, but now it's a little more tricky. In some cases, API calls to Easypost are often different than those to a carrier directly to rate or acquire labels. There is a need to have some shipping expertise in some cases, but this is not an unreasonable expectation. It would be great if Easypost had a Shipping 101 book or guide. Our ERP system, Odoo, has an integration with EasyPost. The integration saves time and money since the product dimensions and weight are already stored in the ERP. All that is left to do is to indicate how many of each product is in the package/s for the delivery. Then the information is sent to EasyPost, which returns the shipping label/s to Odoo along with the tracking numbers, which Odoo conveniently adds to the generated packing list/s. The Odoo v13 integration doesn't always work and will sometimes not receive the labels back from EasyPost. I believe that they tried to fix this intermittent issue recently as the whole system was down for a few days but was back after we returned from the Thanksgiving Holiday. When the error occurs, I have to login to EasyPost and download the labels and attach them to the delivery in Odoo manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
