**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I find Dropbox's storage capacity and user interface extremely beneficial. I love the ability to drag and drop, which makes accessing things quick and easy. Dropbox allows me to keep everything in one place, and its fast user interface prevents the hassle of searching through my entire computer. The expanded storage capacity is also great because it doesn't occupy all the RAM or hard drive space on my personal device, and I can access it anywhere. I feel like the user interface is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think sometimes it's easy for your projects to get lost in this space because it is so vast. But I have seen recent years of improvement being able to, like, collab and name projects and things like that. But overall, I really never had ongoing issues.

Dropbox provides a central place to access everything without searching my computer, with a fast interface making it easy to find files.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox to manage photography portfolios and uploads from volunteers. I appreciate its robust tagging, sharing, and uploading platform, which surpasses other platforms like Drive. I like the sync, upload features, and tags and metadata retention as they help with organization and make using raws and edits more effective and consistent. Initial setup is easy, and integrating across teams and onboarding new staff is simple.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes Dropbox is a bit relentless when integrated with Finder and Mac, and is cumbersome to make stop syncing or to pause. At times during large syncs it ignores all changes and tweaks to settings. Maybe some optional in-between settings instead of full sync all the time can help, or making setup a little more modular.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox regularly to upload documents, screenshots, and work files. I can easily access them anytime, from any device. The best part is files sync automatically. It is instantly available on my laptop once its sync's. It is available on laptop or phone when required. Sharing files is simple. Sending links for large attachments are also possible. DropBox is organized and easy to access. 

One best thing about Drop Box is it helps me to keep all my files in one place. Features like version history and file recovery are useful if something gets changed by mistake. I use Drop Box very frequently and implementation is simple. It can be integrated with tools like email. Dropbox saves time, keeps files organized and makes day-to-day work easier.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I dislike about Dropbox is that free storage is limited. If we use Drop Box regularly then it will ask for subscription. While uploading large files, it might take some extra time, and this can be a bit frustrating. Sometimes, customer support is not always easy unless we are on a paid plan. Subscription is expensive compared to other tools.

Drop box solves the problem of managing files across teams. It helps to avoid issues like sending different versions of the same file through email. **What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox and Dropbox Replay have been a huge part of streamlining my workflow, especially as someone working with video content. Beyond just storage, Replay has made the feedback process so much more efficient—I’m able to have clients leave comments directly on specific moments in a film, which eliminates confusion and saves a lot of back-and-forth.

Dropbox overall keeps everything organized and accessible across my devices, and I love how easy it is to manage different versions of projects without things getting messy. Delivering final films to clients is also incredibly simple—I can just send a clean, professional link rather than dealing with large attachments or multiple platforms.

Together, they’ve made my process more seamless, collaborative, and professional, both on my end and for my clients.

I use Dropbox to store recordings, especially audio files, and I like how I can label them in a certain way to easily find them. It helps me manage business-related files efficiently from customer to customer. Dropbox allows me to maintain audio files for a long period of time while keeping them isolated from the storage space on my laptops. I've had no issues at all with the initial setup; it was as simple as just download, press, record, and go. The pricing is right with a free version and a paid version, and I had no problems.

Not much. Dropbox is very useful. I still store audio recorders and personal messages on Dropbox

Easy to save and withdrawl files.
Easy to share files files with co-workers and friends and it is secure. 
The fact i am able to work on file and it gets updated to allow my co-worker used at the same time. 
I can access the file at anywhere and there is no ristriction.

The storage plans are expensive for the amount of storage you get.
The Security can be improved as transfering files via Wi-fi can be vulnerable.
Search capabilites is limited to find files with large files with name you need.

Also it is very easy to use and I am frequently use for keeping my personal document also. Its integration and implementation is very fast and secure.

I wish Dropbox offered a bit more free storage and simpler pricing  -sometimes it feels like I’m paying for space I don’t fully use. So every time I have to be careful to use space.

For me, its delta-sync technology is still the gold standard: it uploads only the parts of a file that have changed, which makes updates impressively fast even when I’m working with large datasets. I also love how naturally it integrates into my operating system’s file explorer, instead of feeling like a clunky third-party app. Whether I’m on my phone, tablet, or desktop, the peace of mind that comes from knowing my files are quietly, accurately versioned in the background is genuinely invaluable.

I also appreciate how Dropbox has grown into a broader creative hub, not just a place to store files. Tools like "Dropbox Replay" for video feedback and "Dropbox Sign" for e-signatures have noticeably streamlined my professional workflows. Being able to send massive files—up to 100 GB—through "Dropbox Transfer" without requiring the recipient to create an account is another major plus. Overall, it feels like an open ecosystem that works smoothly with what I already use, from Slack to Microsoft 365.

What I dislike most is the rising cost and the aggressive upselling. For a solo user or a small startup, the pricing tiers can feel steep, especially compared to competitors like Google Drive or OneDrive, which often bundle storage with full office suites. I’m also frequently frustrated by the “feature creep”: the interface can feel cluttered with new tools I didn’t ask for, and it becomes harder to locate the straightforward “storage and sync” settings I actually need. The free tier’s 2 GB limit is also notoriously stingy in 2026, making it almost impossible to use without quickly being pushed toward a paid upgrade.

I also have lingering concerns about privacy and technical limitations. I use Dropbox because of effortless syncing, it takes much lesser space compared to other services, making it very helpful for space saving, especially with documents that use a lot of space on my phone. I really like how easy it is to create a sharing folder and send it across to others as a drive, which makes sharing very convenient. Dropbox is also easy to set up, as it just requires a password and login ID.

What I find most helpful about Dropbox is that it gives me one place to keep all my files, so I don’t have to worry about losing them. I can save documents, pictures, and videos, and then open them later from my PC, phone, or tablet. It’s especially useful when I’m working on something in different places, because I don’t have to email files to myself anymore.

The biggest upsides for me are that Dropbox saves my work automatically, makes it easy to share files with other people, and lets me send links instead of attaching large files to emails. I like that it's easy to use and rearrange files for storage. It acts like another hard drive, so I can see where all my files are. The initial setup was easy as well.

When I try to move the file to my hard drive, it deletes it out of Dropbox. It would be better if it automatically duplicated the file for me

I'm not a fan of how limited storage can be. Making users pay a premium fee in order to have more storage in my opinion is wack but I understand why this is the case but however I still dislike this.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Honestly, my favorite thing about Dropbox is just how reliable it is. I can access my files from anywhere without thinking about it. The interface is super simple, I didn't have to watch any tutorials to figure out how to upload or share stuff. I got everything synced between my laptop and phone in like five minutes. It connects perfectly with Zoom and Slack, so I don't have to download and re-upload files constantly. It just works when I need it to. I was surprised by how seamless the setup was; I didn't need to read a manual or get IT involved to get everything up and running. It has become a daily driver for our team; I can't imagine getting through a workday without relying on it constantly. They have a lot of good help articles that usually solve my issues, but if you actually need to talk to a real person, it can be a bit of a hassle.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

If I have a complaint, it's that the good stuff, like extra storage or the advanced admin tools, is locked behind expensive tier upgrades. For a small team, the cost adds up fast. Also, while it’s easy to use, it can get messy. If you have a ton of files, it takes a lot of effort to keep the folder structure from looking like a disaster zone. I’ve also noticed the sync can really drag if I'm uploading massive files or my internet is slow. Support is hit-or-miss with response times, and setting up some of the integrations can be a bit fiddly. Despite the annoyances, though, it’s still my go-to for storage.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Dropbox solves for us is data fragmentation. It gives us a secure, central hub for all our documents, which significantly reduces the risk of files being misplaced or duplicated across different devices. This is crucial for our shared projects; everyone on the team has immediate access to the latest version, so we're always on the same page. It also streamlined our workflow by eliminating the need to constantly email file attachments, preventing those messy version-control issues.
