Dropbox Paper Pros and Cons

It's all built into Dropbox, which is great if you're already using Dropbox daily. The live editing while collaborating with a team is quite helpful. Overall, it has most of the text editing features you'd need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The formatting needs some work. It can also be clunky at times, which is frustrating. It doesn't have every feature you'd see in Google Drive or Microsoft Word, but it gets the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Dropbox Papers task management features. These set of features makes it convenient for me to annotate images in documents, mention team-members during collaboration, assign tasks to team members , and add due dates to assigned tasks, all from within my Dropbox paper. The lack of add-ons for me. A lot of document editors these days create room for users to introduce specific features into their daily document editing experience using add-ons. - Has fewer formatting capabilities compared to Google Docs, Quip, Box Notes, etc. so there is no strong use case for switching to Dropbox Paper unless the organization uses Dropbox very heavily

I can't think of anything I dislike about Dropbox Paper. I wish more of my workflow could be transitioned to paper rather than marked up PDFs or Word docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that everyone can go into dropbox and edit. I also love that Dropbox tells you who is editing so you know not to also edit at the same time. I also love how great the user interface is - everything is very simple to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish the security systems were better. I feel like with more important documents, I would not trust Dropbox. Furthermore, I wish that there was better clarity as to all the functions that Dropbox does offer because there are a lot of upgrades and cool new features that I feel like I don't understand.
