Being able to understand how investors go through our pitch deck has been incredibly helpful, and Docsend's new esignature features means we can keep all our investor docs - from pitches to safes - all in one place. Also, super impressed with how quickly they turn around product feedback + how responsive their customer service team is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides, would be nice to eventually be able to toggle specific slides on/off based on the share link generated, and I'm sure that's in store! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is web-based SaaS viewable on any platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Why not inhibit screen-captures or make them more difficult to share ? - that's a minimum requirement.
Available from other platforms like Adobe Cloud without additional cost.
This is available in the base platform. e.g. Safari and iPhone iOS can prevent pictures of payment information, or prevent them from being included in other documents.
2. It's too easy for someone to use a fake email, and too hard to personalize passwords per person within recipient company. This defeats the ability to track who exactly is opening the document within a recipient company.
Instead, propose : Enable access based on any validated email account, within a domain, without password. i.e. send recipient the descend link, recipient enters email into the given docsend link, an email is sent to that email account with second link. If the click on the
3. The smarter business model would be to make all higher level features available individually, but to make the Standard or Advanced packages cheaper than the sum of the individual features.
This is what Salesforce, Survey Monkey and many others do.
4. Since Docsend has failed to match the abilities of Adobe Cloud in preventing copy of content, it should at least Automatically add watermarking to ensure taken content can be tracked to the source.
5. Some items that could be useful require the more expensive package - why not make NDA option for base package users as an add on ?
6. Enable and enhance the viewing of certain revisions. Upload one document, but enhancements only visible to certain enabled or new recipients. This allows continuous revisions without having to split releases into separate documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that DocSend allows me to track clicks for the documents I upload. I like the categorization options. I also like the performance metrics, particularly that I can see which page clients view the most. DocSend makes link sharing settings pretty easy to navigate too. A major drawback of DocSend is that I cannot host JPEGs or PNGs on the website for things like toolkits. This makes trying to link a toolkit clunky and I need to link outside to another hosting service like DropBox, and I hate using DropBox. If hosting images were possible, that'd make it better. DocSend is easy to use, focus on what I need (document sharing management), and has an inexpensive plan for this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really apart two premium features (email authentication and watermark) that I would love to see included in the basic plan but I understand they have to make a living. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I value the flexibility that DocSend offers for folder management, creating different versions for different audiences, uploading new versions without changing links, and tailoring permissions (email, downloads, expiration date). I love having visibility into who opened my documents and how long they spent on them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using DocuSign for 4 months now and have been able to track hundreds of visits. To date, I have not encountered anything I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Metrics on reading time, email listing, notifications. The service does a fantastic job of allowing users to understand how much time others are spending on actually looking through the information you send. It is very helpful to understand this kind of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accessibility to find old links. It can sometimes be difficult top find links to past records especially when there are so many listings from the past. It would be helpful to have some better search features. i would also like to understand a bit more about how the time spent works and see where they are spending time and possibly even if there mouse when to certain parts of the page. It's really useful for sharing investor deck materials without sending an attachment. You can track how the viewer interacts with the document - which pages are successful, as well as the basic knowledge that they've opened the document and spent time reviewing it. The ability to edit or update the document after sharing is great, also the function to use different links for different organizations to share the document with. Attaching videos could be easier - would be great to see a similar drag and drop functionality for video files as with pdfs, rather than having to upload to a separate hosting service like YouTube. You may as well send a Google drive link if you're interested in private but easy access, without the option to download. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to see how prospects and clients interact with documents has been so valuable for our team. I can see how much time each viewer spends on each page or slide. It allows me to see what they are most interested in or what may need more explanation. I also get notified when they are viewing in real time which is a great way to connect with them while they are engaging with our content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that I could see which users are viewing the document. If there is a link shared, I can't determine who is the viewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using docsend to send out a link for our investor deck and track who is reviewing it. Very helpful and better then having to send a PDF. Investors are impressed, it is easy to make edits and update and we are able to have multiple presentations at once, and track each one individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, have not disliked anything -- I suppose the lack of verification of the emails submitted (you can put down anything when it prompts to review the deck) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
