What do you like best about Drake Tax?

We transitioned from Intuit to Drake, and the support team was very helpful in move, and whenever we have technical questions. We use it daily and it takes only a couple of weeks to become pro with it. It is very secure and plays well with multiple operating systems without sacrificing functionality. What do you dislike about Drake Tax?

Their pricing has gotten a bit out of hand in the last few years. Also, their Federal tax side of the program is great. Some of the State tax forms will leave you wanting in Drake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Drake Tax?

Drake is very easy to learn. The data input view is basic, but everything I need to prepare an accurate and complete tax return is there. The price, reliability, and product consistency are what make using Drake a no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drake Tax?

I dislike the built-in Customer Relationship Manager. It's not robust enough for what I want for my practice, so I have paired up my Drake Software with TaxDome to fill in the gaps. Now I can make notes about customers, view invoices for all years, and easily send bulk emails to customers in a certain category - like those with IP PINs, for example. What problems is Drake Tax solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drake Tax helps me serve my clients better by keeping overhead low, providing all prior-year software for free (with purchase of current the year), and by being consistent year to year. Ease of use and error checking. Drake offers some of the best software to make sure you complete a tax return correctly and it alerts you to anything that may create a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On occasion running Drake Tax software on a server can cause unexpected crashes. It has been an on going battle. At least when a crash does occur it auto saves data so your work is not lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Drake software offers pricing for firms with a few clients to firms with thousands of clients. The ease of use and customer support will make any money you spend on this software well worth it. Multiple-year firms can pull client data forward, create client contacts with letters, offer tax organizers to help clients get documents based on prior year taxes, and much more. What do you like best about Drake Tax?

Drake is the best software I have ever used. It is user-friendly and easy to use. The best part about this software is its interface is almost similar to the actual tax forms.
